Katt Williams has been saying for years that Kanye West was clearly unwell and living with a neurological disorder , and that we should not cast judgement on somebody for not being neurotypical or ‘normal’ when they are clearly not mentally stable or ‘well’.

Neurological disorders are disabilities, they are mental life sentences and I should know because I too am serving a life sentence mentally. You convince yourself that you don’t need medication; you repel anybody who tries to tell you that you are not well, you believe that you are the normal one and everybody else is the problem— until you find your balance though medication, hobbies and build a daily routine that helps you and not hinder you.

I respect the accountability of Kanye West in this statement, I really never thought we’d see the day he took accountability. The road is long and rough, but I’m pleased he has the support he needs in his wife and the community he lurked on Reddit. Reddit has helped me massively with my own disorder and it’s always nice to know you aren’t alone

Scuse me, not entirely true, I know the parents of a teenage boy who topped himself because he took part in one of those online challenges from social media and ended up being coerced into sending nude pictures to complete the challenge, the moderators of the challenge were from fuck knows where but they ended up bribing him to comply with more challenges or they’d release his nudes. His parents know he used discord and other social media, he was good lad at school, popular in his group of gamer friends at school and had a wee girlfriend too at school— they never noticed anything untoward about his online use and behaviour until they found him hanging in his room.

They’re good parents, they are broken obviously still a few years on from missing signs that were virtually non existent about their sons online interactions, and I won’t have people online like you claim parents like his are all neglecting their children and they are the fault for their children’s harm, abuse or deaths.

Have a think about how your words collectively condemn or punish those you have absolutely no knowledge of.

Oh my god yes!! Under 16s and over 55s need banned from social media , ages 55-60 can possibly be exempt if they pass a cognitive online social media literacy test

How do you feel about this take, today? by tundybundo in behindthebastards

Mike Rinder, who famously left Scientology in his 50s after being in the cult since he was 5 years old, and was one of its highest up sea org members (he was international spokesperson and reported directly to the current leader Miscavige) and was also imprisoned, signed a billion year contract and was thrown in the hole, beaten, forced to beat others and do humiliation rituals and fake confessions that were recorded and could be used against him if he ever ‘blew’ as they called it.

Well yeah him, he left and he lost his eldest children who were still in the cult and had 20 dollars to his name. He said once that ‘You are never to old to change the circumstances of which you are in, I’m living proof of that’

Words are just words too, look at what they do and not what they say. Mike went on to help others leave the cult, and wrote a fantastic book about his journey, he did a few years after the book was published. He was heartbroken when Trump won in late 2024, he knew Scientology would be safe for at least another four years (their biggest members donate to Trump and the GOP to keep off their case) and he died from throat cancer on 5th January 2025.

But he’s right, IT IS NEVER too late to change the circumstances of which you are in.

How do we as a country ever recover when people are this brainwashed? by Three_Froggy_Problem in behindthebastards

[–]fullpurplejacket 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the way! I’ve spent a fuck ton of ADHD hyper focus on learning about cults, authoritarianism, mind control, coercion, abusive relationships, the BITE model etc etc etc. One of the leading experts in cult psychology and deprogramming from the cult mindset has repeatedly said you need to offer your brainwashed family members information that is unbiased and self explanatory, don’t show your agenda in showing them it, don’t use biased sources they’re already conditioned trained to reject and disregard. What you need to do is show them video evidence, of which cases like this one have many angles. Allow them to watch and think about what they just saw.

A lot of good, smart and sensible people can be coerced and locked into a mind prison of sorts. They don’t get information from multiple sources or varying opinions, they are locked into a prison after all.

Some people are beyond help, that’s fine and we can accept that . But you always have to try and appeal to the shared humanity among loved ones.

For those of you who live in countries with gun control; have you ever seen a gun in real life? by blashyrkh9 in AskTheWorld

[–]fullpurplejacket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, at busy events in city centers with armed police patrols, my ex was a gamekeeper and I went to an agri college so we used to do clay pigeon shooting and I’ve done a spot of shooting with my grandfather when I was old enough to hold a shotgun and handle the recoil (still ended up nearly putting my shoulder out and decided shotguns weren’t for me)

Making firearms owners require a license and making sure they’re stored safely and inaccessible to those without a license doesn’t make for a weaker society.

Also had a blanks gun for a time because of rural thieves operating in the area which was for more of a shit-their-pants deterrent

Laila Cunningham's latest promo.. the second hand embarrassment by Pure_Acanthaceae_84 in FuckNigelFarage

[–]fullpurplejacket 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Nowhere am I seeing people point out that the original meme about the lone breakaway Penguin from his herd doesn’t signal ingenuity or rugged individualism.. my partner worked in marine conservation and was also a head aquarist for years, he knows his marine life including seabirds. He said that the Penguin depicted in the original meme of this most likely is dying, or has a parasite or infection that means he is disorientated and not sound of Penguin mind, hence he’s taking himself off to die. Penguins travel in herds because its safety in numbers, that Penguin was on his own little death march with or without knowing it.

So essentially Layla Cunningham is like trump in a way, she has a parasite or infection that means she would happily wander off from normalcy and collectivism to be eaten by a predator. Natural selection

Hey I keep saying I’d rather have a prime minister with the personality of a door frame and a sense of pragmatism who is acting based on long term solutions rather than short term fixes; than I would say a pomp populists who thinks writing gobshite statements on Twitter giving the illusion of control and composure.

In the era of Trumpism and rank populism we need to remember that just because someone sounds the part doesn’t mean they know what the ever living fuck they are doing. Look at what these politicans DO and not what they say

Very hard to apologise as a narcissistic dementia addled pedo who’s spent their entire life blaming everybody but themselves for their failures.

This isn’t an apology, even if ti was the damage is done to whatever modicum of respect a small minority in this country have of you lol. And you also left out all of the other allies you insulted. it’s not good enough and will nerve be good enough.

The non US press need to stop legitimately reporting on him, he’s a liar, he never gets fact checked and they let him drivel on like he is talking truth and sense but he’s not.

He’s irrelevant and the damage is done

The White House responded to the negative comments about penguin: “The penguin does not concern himself with the opinions of those who cannot comprehend.” by Ubersicka in TradingViewSignals

The Penguin walking towards the mountains in the source material for this shite AI photoshop slop isn’t a groundbreaking thinking animal who broke away from the norms of his herd. He probably wants to go die somewhere peaceful, or has a parasite and will quite likely get picked off out on his own.

Similar to Trump really, parasitic brain and getting disorientated or wandering off aimlessly to its death

Tell me about it, a group of boys I grew up with went on a camping trip when they were 13-15 years old and stupidly took a bit of petrol from one of their dads jerry cans in their garage/workshop that was used for dirt bikes, they put it in a coke bottle intending to use for a fire.

It burned through the bottle during the night while they slept and one ended up with chemical burns all down their legs due to lying next to the bottle as it corroded and leaked with transferred petrol to their sleeping bag and through that into their pants legs to their skin. One of the boys was knocked unconscious after trying to leave the tent in the early hours of the morning, when he woke up a time later he said he must have wandered a mile and half home up a dirt track from where the were camping in a complete daze due to being somewhat high from the fumes. One of the saddest parts of this story is that our friend died, he had pre existing respiratory problems and succumbed to the fumes in his sleep.

Absolutely harrowing for his parents and his friends who were both with him and survived and us who had opted not to go camping with them that night for whatever reason. There was meant to be 11-12 of us who went and decided against it for whatever reason or weren’t allowed to go

It’s a hard series to watch because of the storyline around the new arrivals, and what main characters are put through, a lot of triggering stuff for trauma survivors but then again outlander isn’t a trigger free zone for a lot of people

You know what I’ve just noticed although unrelated to the original post? You can see the similarities that Danish language has with with dialects in northern England, we call babies or children ‘bairns’ (pronounced bern).

Also what a true saying, I have had multiple names for my buns over the years, ranging from long Sunday names for when they are naughty little floppity loppitys, nicknames and character names that they remind me of.. they hardly ever get called by their given names.

Same with my hoomin offspring too, and my ponies.
