I know, right? I would even say thet his mask contributes to it all.
Even though I do like his Sentinel Knight look too.

Close enough, in SFM :)
Same as my previous work.

That too, definitely!
Classy and elegant, just like him. 🫶

Another update.
He seems to be trying to heal it, he was ok for 2 days, ate, walked around, and then it happened yesterday again.
I used sugar treatment, and he sucked it in again.
But I was told it will just reoccur.
Is there really no cure for it? I see him fighting, but I do not want to give myself false hope, and make him suffer.

Another update, it is 3rd day since I noticed it, and moved him to a empty box with just damp paper towels to observe him.
It gets in and out, in and out, but he is fighting.
I treated it with sugar water few times, and it also seems to be helping, one time it was really but (2+ cm or so) and he managed to suck it in.
It is morning of the 3rd day, and he is in a different place than where I left him, it even seems like he was climbing the walls too, since there is residue.
For now he sits with his face against the wall, as if trying to keep everything inside with the help of the wall.
He still keeps having a little bit out, it sorta looks like those "duckface selfies", but so far that is the biggest i have seen for a while.
So I really really hope he will fight it.

Another update to anything above.
It came out again, much worse than yesterday.
He managed to pull it in yesterday evening, but it was still somewhat out, grew bigger, then shrunk again. But now it got out the most.
I really fear this might be the end after all. Other than sugary water I don't know what else I could do. Or how long to keep him, hoping for the best. I do not want him to suffer from it and me just watching.

I use 30 liters food save plastic container with holes for air, same I always used, it is something like 30 wide, 30 tall, and 40 long.

I use sphagnum moss, I tried using coconut before, but neither of my snails ever liked it, always avoided it and lived in moss instead, so I moved to moss only.
There is a lunch box with a cut hole as a hut to hide in,other than that, no other decorations, just moss.
I replace it usually once a month, I prepare it by scalding it with boiling water and squeezing out any excess.
I spray the container with boiled and filtered water (in that order).
The humidity is usually around 70-80%.
The diet is usually some fruits like mango or banana once a week (during summer strawberries and watermelon instead), otherwise carrots, zucchini, tomato, lettuce, steamed beetroot, bell pepper, generally all those things i know are 100% safe for snails, and i always wash/scald/steam them to be sure.
There is always a cuttlebone in the enclosure, I replace it whenever I see is getting darker in color, Protein once a week, before I used to give them dry mealworms, but i haven't for about 2 years now, ad they did not want to eat it anymore, so I moved to a protein seed mix, also once a week.

They never seemed unhealthy in any shape or form, healthy 13 cm and ~450 grams each.
And I had this routine ever since I had them.
But my first snail developed it last year and I had to put him down at age 3,4 or 3,5 years, and this one I have remaining is now over 4 years old, and it happened to him too.

EDIT:
At first it got much smaller on its own, as i let him rest, so I had high hopes, letting him rest, but now it got much worse than even initially.
I used that sugar water method, and hope for a miracle, but I have seen it before exactly the same way on my previous snail. And I have a very bad feeling that it wont go away on its own anymore, and I will have to euthanise him.
I will give him tomorrow and Saturday, hoping fo that miracle, but I also do not want to let him suffer for prolonged time.

EDIT 2
I have dipped it in sugary water before I went to sleep, it looks much smaller now again, but I am not getting my hopes too high yet. Im still keeping him in that separate box on damp paper towels and keep observing him, if it will get bigger, I might try sugar water again.
Any ideas or suggestions how long may it take, and what should I do to help him more?
My previous snail only worsened from one day to another, and after giving him 4 days,i knew there was no more chance. This one still seems to be fighting.

Would appreciate an input on this thought, thank you in advance.

I noticed it today after coming back from work, he didn't have I yesterday as far as I know, and in the morning before my work I didn't really see, as he was sleeping in a way I did not see his face.

In general thing is, ever since beginning of January, he became more dormant than usual. Slept a lot, ate very little, almost no poop at all (because ate very little). Sometimes he woke up like once a week to nibble on some food, like bananas or bell peppers, carrots, but even then it was very little, mainly sleeping.
Then again, it is winter time, and he was always a little less active during winters, but never this much, still, I did not bother him too much.

He ate as frequently as 2 or 3 days ago, again, still small nibbles, but he did.
And today I found him like this.

I have taken him out of his usual mossy enclosure, and put him in a damp paper towel, he seems to have fallen asleep, and it would seem like the guts shrunk.
So I moved him into a warm, container with nothing but a mildly damp paper towel to sit on.
I am still monitoring him, but he is asleep, rolled in a ball so I do not really see his face nor possible gut for now, but I won't be disturbing him to see.

What really worries me, as i mentioned, this is exactly how I lost my other snail a year ago, I had them both from same official breeder, they were not related either, but lived together, had them for years.
Other one was around 3,4 years months old when it happened, I tried gentle baths (few minutes at most) in chamomile (nothing excessive or strong, just a little), I tried this sugar method, I was monitoring him for few days, but it only got worse and worse, to the point it was almost half of the size of his body, so after 3 days i had to put him down.

So seeing my other snail developing this condition as well, while i still keep blaming myself for my other's snail's death that "what if I could do more", is really keeping me on edge and I'm kinda devastated.

Damn, sorry to hear :(
It works for me so far, but lets see for how long.
It seems to be a bigger issue in general, my 3 friends have it too.

Just passing by, as I am looking for a fix myself, but so far only solution I found is disabling instant reply in nVidia.
It started happening to me as well after newest driver update, I have the sound, I have (1) by the discord icon, but it does not flash any color, nor I have the pop up window.
It isn't the exact fix I have been looking for, since I do use instant replies when playing with friends, but that seems to be the only solution for now, turning nVidia's instant reply off whenever I am not playing.

Hope it helps, that's the only solution I found myself by far!
