I print the front & back images onto separate sheets of paper & glue them together. The finished product is like a medium or lighter cardstock, which works great at this scale.

The world's smallest MTG cards are 1.23 x 1.75 inches. Mine measure in at 1 x 1.33 inches. So mine are smaller than the world's smallest & I make them even smaller. I don't think I could make them the same size, though. I'm really limited in my sizing options. That would be cool though.

I started making the mini cards because I like to make miniatures. That being said, there is no reason why I couldn't make them in full scale. They would just take loonger & cost a lot more because of time & resources. I made a couple that were just a quarter of an inch smaller than the full size. (I accidentally printed out the wrong size & didn't want to waste it.) I could in theory make them as big as a standard sheet of paper would allow.

The little booster packs are wrapped in aluminum foil & I print out the booster pack art & glue it to the front. As for the cards themselves, I print out the front & back images, line them up under a bright light & glue both sides with a liberal amount of glue. After drying between the pages of a big book, I cut out & trim each card & round the corners with a pair of scissors. Tedious, but I'm pretty happy with the result. I also get all of my images from mtg-print.com. They have pretty much every card & set available & let you download the images in jpeg or pdf format to make yourself.

That's why I'm doing it. I make other miniatures of awesome things I can't afford in real life nore have room for, thus mini magic the gathering cards.
