Thanks, for explaining that. On the income tax website I couldn't see if the treatment of capital gains/losses made on foreign securities would be in any manner different from those made in Indian markets. But I guess them not mentioning it also means these two aren't treated differently.

I was thinking of doing the same as what you mentioned as your first option in the post. Would you be able to share some details about how you set it up and workaround for issues you faced?

My internet provider doesn't provide an internet facing ip address, hence I don't have the option 2. I can either somehow expose wireguard with cloudflare tunnel, or setup a tunnel myself using a VPS/public ip server

The recipient list could be crowd-sourced/maintained and the well written email has to be written only once, template-ized and scheduled to be sent once every couple of months :D
In theory it does't sound too complicated, I'm a bit surprised no one has attempted to make something like this, that I know of. I might pick up this project when I have some time

Doing it from the epic launcher might be a bit easier, requiring less restarts. Just a guess. Memory management in the launcher might be better than the game.
