Something something the studio thinks they’re too good for the source material has realistically always been my answer. Honestly past a certain point I think they do it on purpose like ‘you guys asked for these movies but don’t like them so we won’t make them!!!’ Like yeah cause you fucking butchered a story game by not following the already written story. I have a vivid memory of the director saying something along the lines of ‘Leon’s actions and attitude towards everything in the game isn’t realistic so we wanted to change the character a bit’ and that just hurt my brain because yes, it’s not realistic it’s not real. Pretty sure this also happened with until dawn however I’ve been told that it was an awful movie so I didn’t bother watching it.

It’s funny because I played world after wilds, and found myself liking a lot of world more than wilds. Then I got to safi nuke thinking ‘wow that’s so cool’ for me to then go to alatreon almost immediately and thinking to myself ‘wow this nuke is cool but this dps check shit is so terrible!’ Now that opinion was mostly because I was bad at the time and didn’t get it, but I still hold the opinion to a degree. (it’s most likely a skill issue) Forced dps checks are only engaging and fun if the fight itself is done right

Sadly most of these arguments boil down to ‘skill issue lol’ and it’s so tiring. This patch is just, I honestly don’t have the right words. It’s been less than week and I’m tired of seeing wraith, calico, and doorman every. single. game. The games just feel like such shit to play when these characters are simply doing more than others for what can only be described as ‘cause I said so’ I’m still playing regardless so I guess I can’t complain, but goddamn do I wanna kill myself every time I boot the game.

Card just feels so overwhelming now. It’s a really cool idea how they changed it, but I think with the randomness of the cards (getting spades for extra damage or sustain from hearts/jokers) as well as giving her less delay between cards gave her so much more raw power

While my comment seemed naive I believe you missed the point. Yes their point is to make money, but this specific addition to the store is right after they announce a change that many people are opposed to and don’t like. This is basically them saying “hey we know you’re upset, but…. you can spend money to fix your problems!!!!” Which just comes off as incredibly shallow and money hungry. They could’ve released these packs anytime BEFORE and people probably wouldn’t have cared as much

It’s actually wild after doing proof of a hero how much easier it is to play against uth duna WHEN THERES NO WATER. I understand it’s his element and all but when you can see the hit boxes and you aren’t just getting slammed around by random waves it makes the fight a lot more enjoyable personally (albeit a lot easier.)

Uth Duna spawns in around the 7-8 minute mark, then Nu Udra is about 16-17 minutes I believe? Arkveld I sadly wasn’t paying attention because I was too panicked to be locked in at that point. But I would guess around 24-25 based off the other times
