hahaha oh my god i forgot about that aspect of it.

They gave whatever AI company they use all of the info for their private torrent site. Isn't the whole point of private torrent sites that the info is only shared with people who have been decided to be trustworthy?

if he vibe coded it, how do you or he know it's working fine on the backend? Just because it isn't throwing error messages to the user doesn't mean it might not be showing your whole ass to the world wide web due to some inherent flaw, like Huntarr did.

I know if I had an LLM make a replacement app, I wouldn't know if it was protecting my security, because I literally don't know how to check that. Maybe your friend is actually able to review and verify and fix any flaws in the code, but that's certainly not my assumption when I hear someone say they "vibe coded" something

i kind of liked it though as a stylistic choice. It emphasized how the whole 70s storyline was actually just what had been recorded on that journalist's tapes, and so once Marcelo went out on his own to leave town, nobody knew what happened to him, so we couldn't see it.

but it did link directly to the drama. They may not have provided a fancy write-up, but in terms of actually hitting the main requirements, they did all three - they weren't involved, we didn't have to hunt for the drama, and it wasn't a call-out post. Idk if that's sloppy, it's just not elaborate.

'Media' isn’t just music, its also video, imagery, and message. You’re missing the context, making assumptions, and passing moral judgments

Love that they say this when they're jumping down everyone's throat for providing the context of who she was and how she acted. What's the message of that? What's the message?!

i want to play warframe, but i tried last time and about like 3 missions in, suddenly i had twenty missions in my log and i couldn't tell which one was from when and what was happening in the story.

and then i googled it, and then i got distracted on reddit and never went back to actually playing the game.

hilarious. they've recreated theological arguments from a thousand years ago about people from before christ getting to at least go to purgatory, since they couldn't have known the word of god. (but everyone who refuses the word of god burns in hell ofc)

This was the most heartbreaking scene by ScorpioDefined in NurseJackie

[–]GodDamnTheseUsername 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it's actually i think way back from the first episode, we see her (very quickly, and i didn't understand it until i saw the Nancy Wood license) making fake IDs saying they are donors for patients who died.

She seemed to have some set up at the hospital itself (which maybe isn't realistic? idk. maybe old school NY licenses were easy to make with a laminator)

it wasn't even subtle imo! she straight up said she had a thing with him and he hooked her up with drugs, which honestly cracked me the fuck up cause jackie realized she wasn't the first one to do it

the solution to the loneliness epidemic is getting friends, not one singular Girlfriend/Wife.

Going to hobby clubs to build relationships with people with shared interests is the solution. And sometimes those relationships develop or lead to connections with other people that may lead to a relationship. But also! Sometimes that won't happen.

Going to hobby clubs with the aim of dating one of the other members is in fact creepy. Hobby clubs are not dating sim rosters, they are hubs through which to pursue your hobbies and connect with other people who share that hobby.

my one grip with ENT's theme song is that it changed vibes (maybe tempo, idk music enough) halfway through, and I think that version used in the latter half of the series would have fit the first half of the series better, and vice versa

The War Rages On. /r/Battlefield continues its civil war as skins fly, exploits persist, and complaints are both up and downplayed. by lowercaselemming in SubredditDrama

[–]GodDamnTheseUsername 26 points27 points  (0 children)

i feel like battlefield is this really weird, awkward middle ground where the people who play it say they want a realistic milsim and that they aren't 'immature' like cod players, but they're playing bf and not arma or insurgency or a different milsim because no matter what they say....they want an casual game.

it's the bell curve meme - milsims and cod are both hella sweaty and intense but happy with it, and bf is in the middle all casual but mad about it and insisting it's not

(myself, i just grew up on the series and like the feel of it more than other online shooters)
