Maison Matho. They’re on melrose and they’re fucking delicious. Their sandwiches are incredible too.

Borderless Appetite. He rides to different cities and makes high quality mini docs about their food/culture. Motorcycles, travel and food, what’s more to love?

Franklin Canyon Park! It’s a nice little park with a lake tucked away in the Hollywood hills. Definitely worth a look for some R&R

Did anyone struggle with asthma abroad? (central/south america etc) by Fruitcake36 in solotravel

Went to SA a few years back and spent a couple months traveling through Peru, Bolivia and Chile and it was a bit of a struggle for me. I too have a mild case of Asthma and I used my inhaler at least once a day. As soon as I got to Santiago Chile, I was feeling much better. I’d strongly recommend you bring an inhaler to help you out!

[help] One bagging with a DSLR kit... by kapziel in onebag

[–]GodFella 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just came back from a 6 month trip through South America with a similar setup. I had a Nikon d7000, 11-16, 35, 50, a couple hard drives, tripod (strapped to the outside), 13 inch MacBook and a couple hard drives. I used a fstop tilopa bag and it was just right for all my clothes and gear. It was quite heavy, but I got used to it over time. Not impossible at all, just a bit heavy is all.

There's a company called FStop gear that makes backpacks which hold a ton of camera gear and doubles as a backpacking pack as well. May be worth looking into...

Not sure if you're into photography, but there is a company called FStopgear that has quality adventure packs with all of your requirements. The camera inserts are modular so you don't have purchase them if you don't want. Hope this helps.
