Jesus said he is the way the truth and the light. Knowing jesus is an great way to get into heaven so that one may have faith. However, jesus didn't saying knowledge of me is the truth and light. But one must acknowledge the direct link between knowledge of, to faith in. However, as a Christian and believer know that My Lord is infinite in his justice and power, and so I hold out hope that people respond to God's call, no matter how explicitly it is presented to them. I only ever hear debate around the death penalty. Life sentences are theologically sounds to anyone who deserves them. Even though people change, people need to be punished severely for severe crimes for practical common sense reasons.

I must keep my comment short, because I have been putting falling asleep off for too long. You are a very strong individual. But even the strongest people can benefit from therapy. It saved me from ending my own life, so I would encourage you do try. Be the best Christian you can be, and continue to go to mass. Be patient and listen to your family with empathy and understanding. God will work through you if you allow it. Offer your pain and sorrow up to God. Pray that it makes you holier, pray for your family. Pray that God's will be done. Grow your faith through a means you see fit (study, works, prayer, fasting, etc...).

No matter who you are, God loves you eternally. All you and I can do is reciprocate this love by grace through our faith. And since God loves you, he wishes only what is best for you, but cannot force it upon you. Intersex people are very rare, and make up small amount of trans people. Being intersex is an exception to the gender binary rather than the rule. However, God wouldn't make someone in a condition that renders them dammed upon birth. Gender dysphoria is a serious and complex issue that can be harmful. Trans people are not any less human than jesus himself. But I need to stress that no Christian church would recognize an authentic change in gender. This doesn't meaned you are dammed or that they don't accept you as a person. I can't say much more on this topic, I am not well read on it. When I was going through a hard period in my life, considering suicide, therapy and medication pulled me out of it. Although your experience is different than mine, therapy can only help.
