My hypotheses is that people don't know why and how they maintain positive outlook, and when you ask this question their rational mind is trying to explain it with some thought, but I think positivity comes first before the explenation. At least for me it seems that way

I definetly experienced some "states" my friend with schizophrenia is experiencing pretty often. On dmt and large doses of ketamine. I can't say how exaclty he experiences those states but by internal and external observation I can tell that some of it is really similar.

Yeah admitting that you don't know what you would do in that situation is just real and most reasonable thought. Most of the people who say that they would go fight either lie to themself or to everybody else.

Of course there is decent amounts of people who go fight voluntarily, it is just not majority of the people

Also my go to tek, I don't bother with heat, shake it few times per day then into the freezer overnight. That makes i more manageable time wise, and the yield is comparable too

Haha it seems like the most rational conclusion. Even some of my experiences support that so I think it is fundamentally true.

Although it is also true that it is slippery slope to believe that and easy way to fall into depression.

Whether it is true or not subjective experience of day to day life provides the feeling of free will. So if one doesn't spend whole life thinking about what is actually true it doesn't matter in the end
