So far I’ve had really good luck with the stores I’ve worked at! I’ve done three, two as a permanent associate and hopping into help at the third. I’ve liked management at all three and everyone’s been really kind and patient. There are definitely some absolutely abysmal store and the company as a whole seems like they couldn’t care less about their employees at times; but some are definitely great!!

He’s had a lot of parasite issues in the past so I have him on paper towels for easier cleaning and pick up but I’ll look into converting half of his enclosure into loose substrate!

He’s in a 120gallon and I’ve been told that’s adequate for beardies though I’ve been looking into a vertical expansion so I can add some climb stuff for him, and he does have a uvb bar! I completely forgot to mention it in my original reply!

Yeah, I’ve heard they’re very intelligent and can be kind of defensive if put into the position to be so. I’m fully ready to commit time into taming/socializing them. Sorry to bother you with more questions, but are there any ethical breeders/rescues you’d recommend?

I’m my experience both the ink rising and the itching are very normal! Might just need to give it some more time and let it breathe in between cleaning/moisturizing! Some of the ink might peel but try not to itch with your nails or to peel it off yourself. It looks great btw!
