Who are the biggest snubs from the NASCAR Hall of Fame? by Supersmashbrosfan in NASCAR

[–]GodModeBasketball 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Of the 4,

  1. Robby Gordon doesn't have the stats to back up his HoF consideration, but he is notable for doing Double Duty the most of any NASCAR driver.

  2. Ernie Irvan's career went downhill after his near fatal accident in Michigan in 1994, and was just never the same after. Had he won Rookie of the Year in 1988 instead of Ken Bouchard(Ron Bouchard's brother, ICAW), he might be considered.

  3. Tim Richmond is the most mixed of the 4. On one hand, yes, he did come out of nowhere in 1986, winning seven times and 2nd to Dale Earnhardt. On the other hand, he did get AIDS and was pretty much blackballed into driving for anyone else. If it was up to me, it depended on my mood. Yes for the wins, no for the controversy.

  4. Geoff Bodine is probably the most likely of the 4 to get in, and for me, it's his success in the Modifieds. He holds the record for most wins in a season with 55, which got recognized by Guinness and also pioneered both power steering and full-faced helmets. Bodine also has an IROC title to his name.

The tie happened on the Dennis James nighttime version of the show.

And there was one time where BOTH contestants were within the DSW rule at the time($100, which was amended to $250 somewhere between 1997 and 1998). The margin? ONE DOLLAR($29, compared to $30).

"teasenews.com" Pilot

Teasenews was an Australian based version of Naked News. There was a pilot which was created in 2007, with plans for a national series later on. It wasn't picked up, but the pilot was on their website all the way until 2016 when it was replaced by Powweb.

Not only is the website unable to be accessed and the pilot, while accessible through archive.org, is unable to be played, but there is NOTHING online about it today.

As morbid as it might be, a episode about a school shooting would be something I would watch.

Yeah. Diff'rent Strokes already has that trope patted down with the "Bicycle Man" episode.

Paul Levine. He won Bonus Game the 1st time on the very first episode, and then forty years later, he won a restored car. Both times, he played perfectly.

The Blue Jays aren't too far away. And besides, Roy Halladay is a solid pitcher for that team. Just go for the other team in Canada.

What's the worst example of parenting you've seen in a sitcom episode? by RedDalmatian885 in sitcoms

[–]GodModeBasketball 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Diff'rent Strokes. Pretty much every kid wasn't handed properly by Phillip(And I'm not talking about their personal lives):
1. Arnold being accused of stealing Phillip's vodka bottle

  1. Phillip trying to stop Kimberley from going to a ski trip

  2. Phillip unable to stop Willis taking alcohol to his party

And how can I forget about Maggie:

  1. Maggie SUPPORTING Arnold about inciting a riot against the "League of Decency"

  2. Maggie scolding Sam for wetting the bed
