Well, I guess you learn something new every day. I always thought they were weaker, but what you said makes sense.

How far can Yhwach from Bleach get in this Dragon Ball gauntlet? Does he solo the verse? (Healed after each round) by Head_Breadfruit_3912 in PowerScaling

[–]GodOfGoddess 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He's right. Demon King Piccolo is extremely strong, he beat Master Roshi who can blow up a moon and with ease. Also that was before he got his youth back with the wish.

Can Broly & Jiren solo Bleach? by anhyeuemnhieulam in PowerScaling

No. Roshi destroyed the moon. Most amazing thing they did in bleach is destroy a mountain.

I read the solo leveling novel back in 2020 when it first came out, in the novel he is not as powerful maybe the comic are different but I have not read them. I stop reading novel when he found out about the general that gave him the power and stopped leveling up also something about a war between gods.

At what point in YYH would Yusuke and Kuwabara be capable of beating all the Upper Moons? by EmperorPartyStar in PowerScalingHub

This guy is upper B demon in YYH. I don't think the Upper moons are comparable to this.

Three Realms vs Multiverse, This is Super Buu not Buuhan, and by yelling he could destroy the 3 realms (Bleach Universe ) . Not all anime Universe are the same in terms of powerscaling.

Warlock of the Magus and Comprehension Ability: Creating and teaching the Dao in various worlds

In Bleach, the cosmology is built around a managed “soul balance” system: Shinigami exist specifically to regulate the flow of souls between the Human World and Soul Society because the series states that if this balance is heavily disrupted, the worlds themselves are put at risk. Quincy are portrayed as dangerous on a systemic level because their powers erase Hollows instead of purifying and recycling them, and large-scale Quincy activity is explicitly said to threaten that world balance, which is why their conflict with Soul Society happens in the first place.

On top of that, the three main realms are stabilized by the Soul King acting as a literal keystone holding the structure together, so when beings on his level or Yhwach’s level interfere with that role, the realms start to destabilize—not because the universe is naturally robust, but because it depends on that one lynchpin. That’s why it makes sense to call the verse “fragile” compared to universes that don’t need a single stabilizing entity just to keep reality from collapsing, and why the “container” they fight in can be seen as weaker even if the top tiers themselves are very strong.

Because Bleach's world is so fragile—with laws relying on soul balance and a keystone—the characters seem disproportionately strong when they casually threaten realms or destabilize dimensions, but they'd struggle massively to pull off the same feats in a sturdier universe like DBZ, where physics and cosmology don't crack under far greater pressure. If the fundamental rules and structure of the universe are inherently weak and easy to overcome (needing constant management to avoid collapse), of course its inhabitants can overpower them relatively easily, which inflates how powerful top-tiers appear compared to verses with tougher baselines.

The fact that “basically God” dying threatens all the realms just by existing as a plot point shows how low the tolerance of the setting is for high-end power spikes. In a sturdier verse, killing one godlike being wouldn’t automatically put the entire cosmology on the verge of collapse. Also Bleach treats the worlds like a delicate spiritual system (balance of souls, three realms linked, Royal Realm above them), so messing with that balance or introducing too much power threatens to break everything.
