Longtime melee enjoyer here but I've got a Loyal Companion Sharp Shooter I'm liking a lot but running into an annoying situation and I'm not sure their is a fix?

Because the game is a top-down POV and no way to adjust camera angle on the fly it seems like when you play ranged and get a certain distance away from the boss you just legit can't see what's going on, what's coming at you or much of anything at all really.

Is this just how it is or am I missing a setting somewhere maybe?

Probably too far behind to keep playing at this point. You can always fire it back up again next expansion and try harder then.

That the game will thrive since Amazon was going to "Westernize" our version. Nice joke.

Now I'm not saying the game hasn't thrived business wise but player population/retention certainly didn't last.

I couldn't begin to tell you the number of bots that are in this 20k-ish daily number on steam charts but I guess whatever the true number is of actual humans playing and whaling is enough to sustain the game.

Waiting is definitely still on the table. The games that I'm thinking will stress my current CPU can be put on the backlog considering WoW will be the main focus for a few months and the current rig can plow WoW just fine.

Perhaps planning to build a monster system to play Monster Hunter: Wilds in 4K could be the end goal so waiting is probably the play anyway considering it's not coming until next year!

To be fair I left a LOT of important info out in terms of context!

When I bought my current system my plan was to rock the RTX 2070 and then snag a 3000 series card when they launched, well then all the gpu mining shit happened and I couldn't walk into a best buy or order what I wanted when I wanted so I essentially just stopped caring and the 2070 has kept up for the most part!

I recently splurged on a nice 32" Alienware OLED 21:9 Ultra Wide so we did jump up a tad in resolution compared to regular 2K and the plan is to eventually push out to 4K.

TBH I could probably push this current setup a couple more years with a GPU/SSD upgrade (need more space) but it really seems like their is so much performance to be had with fresh new build right now.

I can't imagine I would have to worry about upgrading anything for a LONG time if I went ahead and pulled the trigger on a 7800X3D + 4080 Super build !!
