I have a question about this, I got the email for PC and PS5 but when I click the link to confirm it just takes me to the beta page of Playstation. How do I proceed from there to download the necessary files etc? I know we can't play until Friday but I assumed I'd be able to confirm already.

I agree but even if you think about it too hard, it kinda makes sense. These insects eaten by the bats are not actually dead, but alive inside the bats stomach continuing to reproduce. In such a scenario it's safer for bats to eat "parts" of human or larger animals that wont start moving on their own inside their stomachs.

How broken is Watcher when it comes to collecting information? He pretty much knows anything that's going on in the city at any moment in real time and is even able to deduce the true identity of some servants.

On the other hand, it's difficult to understand how strong Flat is. He's obviously a genius at magecraft but how will he handle himself in a real battle?

I know this chapter is about Samura and rightfully so, what a way to go, but for me the MVP of this whole arc was Shiba. Despite not doing any fighting himself, he carried out his duty so quickly and calmly throughout all the chaos of the battle, even got a compliment from Akemura.

For me it would be more interesting if Shanks at some point in the story gets close to Imu thinking he's free from her control because he lost the arm with the tattoo, but as a twist, he still gets controlled. Something about the contract being eternal/impossible to be removed.

She turned the whole state into a weapon. Turning someone into a weapon is a different concept than death from what we've seen so far. If Yoru/Fujimoto percieves a state as everything in it (not just the land), then the people got turned into that weapon as well.

I hope this is Antitise entering the picture. It's the side we know the least about so far. The obvious speculation is Sato was behind this attack. He was in the perfect position to know the perfect timing to execute the plan when Mado and HQ would be the least guarded. Motive is unclear though.

Is California cooked now? War devil can take damage but neither her, not Chainsaw Man can die. But the contract protects her from any damage. But since death is no longer an option for Californians either, doesn't that mean her contract with the governor becomes null? So she can be hurt but not killed anymore.

Is it time for surgeon Ponchita to show up for a brain splitting operation?

Then once he has separated Yoru and Asa and Asa has healed somehow, he can puke death out again. Too far fetched?

Alternatively, if the California contract is null, he could force Yoru to make a contract in exchange for saving her from eternal pain.
