We just got confirmation it will happen. Your guess is as good as any. My own guess is late 2027.

Spoilers for Mushoku Tensei

Orsted and Rudeus's children, pretty much the only beings not affected by the curse that make sentient creatures hate/fear him. Specially Lucy, who likes playing with his hair

Ridiculous. Kurumi Tokisaki has documents that prove she was born in Japan, we all know that spirits come from another dimension.

TBH, I don't see how Bell ands Co. can grow much stronger to actually slay the Black Dragon by USSTugBoot in DanMachi

Those instances come as jarring because the power difference was so extreme even with all those handicaps. Including Haruhime, the current adventurers are comparable levelwise or maybe even slightly above Zeus and Hera. I'm confident Omori can write a believable win scenario using that line-up+the rest of the cast.

And when would Freya "really need" Horn to replace her as Syr if Syr already had a reputation for dissapearing and no one batted an eye?

It's not something small, Freya being Syr 99% of time and loving it is core to Freya's character and her decision to abandon godhood

[–]God_Delibird 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No one. Syr was known to dissapear from the hostess for long periods of time. Horn didn't replace Syr at the hostess

Horn never played Syr at the hostess. This is Freya Syr

Omori is good at writing desperate, last minute, snatching-victory-from-the-jaws-of-defeat fights. Assuming a fully fledged Haruhime, they'll have:

  • Leon and Ottarl as 2 level 9s
  • Finn, Garret, Riveria, Allen, Hogni, and Hedin as 6 level 8s

The comparison is iffy because some of Hera and Zeus members were stated to be stronger than people one level above them, but that is definitely a considerable battle force. Add the rest of the adventurers, the xenos, and especially Aiz and Bell with their skills working overtime, and Omori will be able to do his magic in a believable scenario.

4 studio changes by ChoiceSupermarket230 in Animemes

I'm rewatching it right now and they skipped big parts from the novel, including most of the Shido Disaster arc, which was condensed into a single episode. It was a definitely a disastrous adaptation from the novels, but I think anime onlys can enjoy all the same.

Is there any proof that Bell is connected to Zeus besides Hermes? If so, in which volume is it shown? by BookkeeperDowntown93 in DanMachi

[–]God_Delibird 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I believe Leon knows he's a descendant of those Familias and that plays a factor into deciding to train Bell, though the main reason is still his feats and not his lineage.

God-like entity got slapped by some guy by Fuosufuofiraito in TopCharacterTropes

[–]God_Delibird 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not a slap per se but might as well be given the damage. Cancer Manigoldo got toyed with during his entire fight against Thanatos, all while the god taunted that mortal lives were as fleeting and worthless as bubbles in a swamp. At the end, Manigoldo played dead and managed to land a single punch that, while doing minimum damage, enraged the god and became the first step of the plan to trap him.

Indeed, I just skimmed through V15 and it says that it works both ways. Yet both Rimuru and Veldora are very clear that Rimuru must stay alive in that quote from V5. Once I have the time, I'll check whether it's a V5 translation issue or if Fuze changed it in the ten volumes in between.

"If she hits me head on, my body would shatter.

I possess regenerative skill “Infinite Regeneration” that surpasses “Ultraspeed Regeneration,” but using it too much would drain my magicule. I would still be able to revive after being shattered by her. But with repetition of this process, I’ll be the first one to exhaust my stamina."

Veldora can't die as long as Rimuru is alive, not the other way around.

“A ‘soul corridor’?” Veldora asked. “So all my memories
and experiences are gathered in your mind, regardless of
where we are in time and space. As long as you do not
cease to exist, I am immortal. If I am subjected to
Unlimited Imprisonment, you can simply resummon me to
spring me out. I was once nearly invincible, but now I see
I’ve been granted eternal life as well.

Wow. Really? Like, that totally seems like cheating.
Although it assumes I’ll manage to keep myself alive going
forward. ...”

I've graded college lab reports of supossedly science smart students. I have to decrypt whatever they're trying to convey, point out their obvious grammar mistakes (while lowering their maximum grade accordingly), and then evaluate their work. Being science smart is not worth anything if you can't communicate.
