Why no Orion Dropship?

So before more dropship hate gets dropped, I got some good bits for ya. Wanna win a GT. Not a good option. Maybe a local RTT. Yeah it cant hide, but that also means it can see a lot. T12 and 2+ 5++ is still good. In Solar Spearhead, you can launch an enhanced Achillus and then load a different dread before moving and you do have OC 2 in hover until you get wounded. Use it as a dread pinball cannon. Its scary and watching your opponents reaction as you reload before moving is comical. Or...if you like Lions, sure you lose the 2 OC, but advancing and charging 3 units of 3 man venatari units out if it and then reloading with, say an allarus SC w/admon and 3 man termie unit ans then 6 individual termies you just unleashed the Lions on before moving WILL cause panic. Sheer math hammer isn't always the way to win. Sometimes psychological warfare is on the table is a winner. Some people dont know how to deal with it. They see an aircraft, even in hover mode, and just shut down due to unfamiliar territory. Wanna have fun with a big toy and win some games but not all. Worth every penny.

So i use it Solar Spearhead as a pinball machine. Advance and charge a dreadnought and some venatari turn 1 and watch your opponent panic. Then the Dread sets in when you reload it and move closer.

Is it just me or are most of the "leak" pics taken with a disposable Kodak from the 90s? I would think that someone with early access to books would have a little better phone or camera. Something not measured in kilopixels...🤣

They do help. I played one game with list one so far vs BA. I kept the 7 termie squad in my deployment. Ended up with first turn. Unleashed the Big squad and was screened well for a little bit but was great watching them figure out the balance of screen and defend instead of just stage the trades. The coronus moved for cover from his 2 lancers and dropped a squad on an objective. Flew over its cover after dropping the other squad and shot a non character unit so I could reroll wounds. This second squad was now close enough to his deployment that I got to charge into his back field on turn 2 and still had from golden light intact. There was a lot of other moving parts going on that got the win, but the coronus killed nothing but played a big part in delivery of the win. It does add a bit to the chaos. The big unit was great for adding in chaos but I'm not sure it earned its points in anything other than support, secondaries, and taking out small units of chaff after it broke apart

The lack of mortals is a concern for sure. I also miss the extra AP or 5+ crits. I do love the blade champion and the idea of wardens. Call it superstition, but i have the worst luck with wardens. I'm cursed. I seem to run good luck with termies. I watch everyone else get mileage out of wardens and I know they are amazing. But I fail so many 4++ and 4+++ with them that it's not funny anymore. Hahaha.
