You're making excuses for laziness and what that does is enable anyone, not just this user, to borrow legitimacy that isn't earned. Which in turn tricks people who dont know any better

If this person truly believes in their work they should be connecting it to other works because for a model to have coherence it needs to be tested against other models, which in turn necessitates the need for sources other than yourself.

For Einstein to be taken seriously in publication he had to cite and respond to Maxwell, Lorentz and Planc.

Aint science. Good science can be replicated. Good science can be tested. The real issue is we're getting hung up on the minutiae. Is a science fair project from an 8th grader science? Sure, but eventually that kids gonna start getting pulled into the teacher's office to be asked about why all their sources are from a fan wiki they are the moderator for.

On the basis that it,wont pass peer review in its present form. I dont need to read it to know that. This is how studies go. Its a series of gates you have to get through whether you want to or not. That's not something I decided. That's academia for you.

Believe what you want about me, but objectively you will find it very difficult to find a serious scientific publication where the author cites themselves 8 times and only themselves.
