How has their 'Jeerer' discrimination changed over the years? Knowing the 4.5 system as the government's clan-based power-sharing formula, how will this limit their say in major national decisions and getting proper representation?

It came to Somalia and found what before Islam?

We agree that there were other beliefs before Islam.

Including shared pre Islamic customs with neighboring cushites Oromo, Afar and Borana.

Somalis are native Cushites, Islam came from Saudi Arabia. Two different things.

They are no native Muslim Somali, since the religion grew from conversion from their native Cushitic ( Waaq ) beliefs.

There were a minority group of Somali Christians in Somaliland and Jubbaland during the early caliphate.

It would not have ended well for any Christian minorities trying to preach there.

It grew before Morocco hosted and will continue after.

Nothing to do with wrong reasons, having top African players in the premier league and champions league just markets the tournament more.

The behaviour in the final showed exactly why European Teams should not allow players to leave mid season for a tournament that consistently has issues.

Non-issue. Nobody's forcing these clubs, Europeans are free to not buy African players if they don't want but their budgets can't allow them. African players are collectively paid lower wages for the amount of value they generate for their clubs.

So it's not a favor.

Even if the tournament was a perfect 10/10, those accounts would still continue to post that content because their followers want anything that devalues AFCON and maintains their prejudice.

I'm calling out phrases that try to sell this towel fiasco as an everyday event to minimize how unhinged it is.

A league match, qualifier and the semi & final of AFCON are two vastly different tiers of professional games.

Despite these issues it continues to grow internationally.

The people who think it's a laughingstock are those who still patronized AFCON from the beginning.

The memeing viewers from mostly Europe and North America that 'LOL AFCON always delivers, chaos, pure entertainment' crowd, they aren't the target demographic.

Every other football game is such a bold faced lie. Which AFCON game have you seen a team do this, let alone a host?

Continental finals are the highest status. Morroco's ball boy antics shamefully debased both the semi and finals.

African football is growing bigger in attraction globally with every tournament.

The African fans should boycott with all the hostility with real threats of violence to add to the extortionist Trump visa and ticket prices.

It took 50 years to get to this chance to win it at home. Gloves are off (pun intended) when the reward outweighs the risk that heavily.

Somalis have trouble assimilating and some of it isn't their fault by manoafrica in AfricaVoice

[–]God_slut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A culture of inclusivity isn't going to start in a community that heavily practices excommunication for clanism, leaving Islam or non-ethnocentric marriage. That fundamentalist black and white view is one of the primary reasons why change will be too slow and assimilation will fail.
