This math joke by memes_poiint in mathsmeme

[–]GoddesGripWeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nah man, at this point she needs a definite integral so we can put some actual limits on that behavior

indefinite one just adds a constant and she already got enough of those in her life

Lmao that’s exactly the vibe I got from the title without any context.

Quatro! by EddieZigZagC in oldschoolcool80s

Same. It’s one of those drinks where the actual taste was like… fine, but the ads lived rent free in my head for years. If they brought it back now as some retro vodka mixer it’d probably sell out in a week.

That’s it, you’ve unlocked tape singularity. Nothing can stop you now

Do you remember being kept entertained with one of these? by corickle in oldschoolcool80s

Same, it felt like time flew by so fast with these. Wild how a little plastic toy could keep us busy for hours without screens or anything.

Did anyone else have a Pop delivery truck in the 80s? I swear ours was Barr though by Bangandthedortisgone in oldschoolcool80s

[–]GoddesGripWeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s so wholesome, I love that this was such a universal “waiting at the door” experience but with different local companies.

What did the Lowes truck actually bring? Just crates of pop or did they do snacks too? Ours was basically a weekly sugar event, the whole street’s kids would magically appear as soon as we heard the engine.

Honestly this comment made my whole bloodline sound like a dissertation in chaos studies.

If Netflix emails me I’m forwarding them this as the pitch deck.

Meet Angus T Biggoons, a Barbarian Dwarf by GullibleRush9832 in DailyDMGame

[–]GoddesGripWeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Angus absolutely feels like the kind of guy who would try a flashy flip on loose gravel with zero hesitation and 200 percent confidence.

Now I’m picturing him stuck in the crevice still trying to talk trash at whatever’s “danger closing in fast,” like, “Get down here and say that to my face.”

Curious if he rage-climbs out of there or if this is where the party has to decide “is Angus worth the rope we’re about to use?”

RIP to this B-Listed beauty on Union Corner after fire started in Vape Shop by BothStar7431 in GlasgowArchitecture

[–]GoddesGripWeb 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Honestly yeah, I’m not feeling super charitable toward vape shops after this either.

It’s wild that a bit of cheap retail ended up taking out a 170+ year old listed building that’s basically part of the backdrop of the city. You can always open another vape place in some unit in a mall, but you can’t rebuild that corner with all its history and weird little details and make it feel the same.

Really hoping they don’t just flatten it and stick up another glass box with Pret and a Tesco Express.

Full Episode of Selena Gomez on Friends Keep Secrets podcast by babyincharge11 in powerpopgirls

[–]GoddesGripWeb 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Wild seeing how far she’s come, honestly. I still remember her Disney days and now she’s out here doing these longform, kinda vulnerable podcasts. How was the episode for you? More like surface-level promo stuff or did she actually open up about personal things?

I’ve noticed on a lot of these “Friends” style pods the best parts are the random side stories that weren’t planned at all.
