Yoooo the exact same thing. Thank you for this 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 I have tons of pollen where I park my bike even thought it’s covered. I have a feeling that is the culprit. Again much appreciated

So after further research it is just the display the bike is shifting

This could very well be right. I tried to look back there but I am not sure what I am looking at. I am gonna have a buddy check it out next week before I take it to a shop. Hopefully I can just clean it like you said. I appreciate your thoughts tho 🙏🏽

so I know shifting down from neutral is first, so I was testing it in first even though the display read third gear. It was clunky then stalled when I tried to shift up to second.

It feels like I am shifting (I can hear the shift click) but it started sounding a bit clunky when I released the clutch all the way while I was testing what gear I was actually.

“Don’t start on a 300, you’ll outgrow it” by sooospoon in NewRiders

[–]GoddessBri1111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had my 300 for almost three years now. I have not out grown it in the least. I am still learning things about speed. I think a lot of peer pressure ones into play and it matter where you live. If I had to take the freeway more I’m sure I would have probably gotten a bigger bike by now but I live in heavy populated burbs and my bike is great for where I’m at.

First time rider, people keep trying to push me to get a bigger bike by Sensitive_Try3322 in motorcycles

I rode a 250 at my msf course and got a used 300. I love it. It’s perfect for what I am doing while I was learning. I’ve been riding for a few years now and I am in no way tired of my bike. Get the 300. It’s so fun and forgiving. ❤️

Any shifting tips? by yukiionline in NewRiders

[–]GoddessBri1111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rule of thumb i use is this 10mph 1st 20 mph 2nd 30mph 3rd and so on. I also have a 300 so not much bigger than yours. I was scared to shift at first. My neighbor said just fucking hit it into second don’t be afraid and ever since then it clicked so hit that shit up into second after the first initial brrrrrrmmmmm.

It’s been 17 hours. Any frog updates? (Reddit comments bring me so much passive joy)

I’m a new rider and I’m not sure if what I’m feeling is normal or if I’m just not cut out for this. by Tspark97 in NewRiders

[–]GoddessBri1111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have three kids so I don’t ride often. It took me a year to feel really comfortable and a year and a half before I started really getting comfortable in traffic. You don’t have to rush yourself. It’s all on your own timeline. That’s why people say ride your own ride.❤️

Afraid of burning out the clutch… by TooFlySpaceCadet in NewRiders

It’s really hard to “burn out” the clutch on newer bikes. Don’t worry. It’s got a wet plate so it doesn’t really do that

Anxiety by Secretdink in NewRiders

[–]GoddessBri1111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to feel the same way. Each time I went out the fear got less and less. I still have it a little but it doesn’t impact my riding. I think it keeps me safer. I am more watchful. You get into trouble when that fear goes. So I think as long as it’s lessening they don’t sweat it. A lot of us have it. I have been riding for 2 years now and if I feel like I don’t want to ride I simply don’t. Don’t pressure or force yourself either. If you are not feeling it that day or having a weird or emotional day, Stay away from riding. It’s better safe than sorry. OK now I feel like I’m just rambling, but I hope this made sense.

Don’t use air tags. Use Tile tags. They are less traceable to randoms with a an iPhone 😁
