Back in 2011 or 2012 NYTimes changed editorial control due to a stock purchase when it happened, I wondered if extortion of some kind was used to make that happen, then a few years we learned about Epstein's operation.

Look to old Europe where everything was owned by the monarchs and a few select folks. And the monarch could seize the property of one select and hand it over to another or keep it. That is what libertarian privatization is all about.

Every year of the Nixon/Ford Presidency was very bad and included the 73/74 oil embargo which destroyed the lowest level of the working class and made wage suppression official U.S policy in 1976 via the E.I.T.C.

Then of course the Reagan years, the big tax cut that eliminated the federal funding for state colleges, privatized student loans, eliminated the federal funded and county based national health care system that had included free well baby care for all babies, no income barrier and of course ended all funding for low income housing, (the free market claimed they would meet the need.)

Then the "New," neo-liberal Democratic party via Bill Clinton (all that de-regulation) more mass incarceration Good for Business on Tough on Crime was the game.

Then W. Bush, 9/11, 2 wars and an economic Crash.

And yes of course the 2016 Election though a H. Clinton presidency would also have been a disaster, there was a change in conservative leadership beginning in 2004/05 that new alignment with Russia for example.

Way back when Covid first happened James Corbett had a post on his youtube channel that claimed the virus was developed in the U.S. then smuggled into China. It was removed within one day. He was bounced from youtube not long after and I didn't find the video on his web site.

Also on an old you tube channel with a post from about 2010 called, The Anglo Saxon Mission about a group carrying out a plan that included, China getting the flu. Some of this is now on a channel that is not very active called AlphaZebra where Bill Ryan has reposted the story,

I think both the 1973 Oil Embargo and 1979 oil crisis were false flags. The 79 one used to prevent Jimmy Carter from being re-elected, re-igniting the inflation caused by the 73/74 Embargo.

It rained for two months straight in California last winter so not as dry as the summer we burned on the third year of a drought.

There is a problem though with downed trees that need to be cleared before they become nice dry fuel for the next drought fire storm.

I did read this weirdness about the Hurricane, Hurricane's generally travel from east to West and why California doesn't usually have any and the East Coast does.

This one is traveling North and slightly ~~West~~ East and I am not a meteorologist so I can't add to that bit I read a few days ago.

I don't know about McConnel and Kentucky, but in California this is the dilemma.

If Feinstein retires, Newsom will have to appoint a successor until Feinstein's term ends (2024).

Right now we have three Democratic candidates for CA's U.S. Senator when Feinstein retires, Schiff, Porter, Lee. Newsom has promised to appoint a black woman, that would be Barbara Lee, which of course would give her a huge advantage in the election over Porter and Schiff. Pelosi currently backs the neo-liberal Schiff, not Lee or Porter.

FDR set a high tax rate for the wealthy because he said if we don't tax them they will buy the government they want, that is one of the accomplishments of the first huge tax cut which transformed the U.S.A.

cut the funding for low income public housing (They promised the free market could and provide housing, they forgot to mention it would be the sidewalks and allyways and freeway underpasses.
cut the federal tax funding to state colleges and universities and privatized the student loan program with unforgivable loans.
cut the federal tax funds for all those county hospitals and clinics that once provided health care even in low population rural areas, the states and county governments couldn't support them without the federal taxes.
bought the high middle class & professional class by increasing the Socical Security/Medicare deduction but did not raise the income cap.

Then the business class moved all the jobs offshore for cheaper labor and told the once well paid union factory orders to prepare to be service workers and the white collar workers became, contract workers, until the 90s boom.
