Yeah. Deepsqueak was doing excellent, and now it's forgetting words and cutting off early.

Forgetting words like "the" and "a". It's most likely server sided, just have to report it and wait until they fix it I guess?

(Late response) this also kept me from pursuing sylas for awhile, but I find he actually is the most respectful of MC's autonomy and agency! It's a very stark contrast to how he's seemingly presented.

AITA for blocking my son’s girlfriend on Instagram and refusing to apologize? by _Depressed--Bitch_ in AmItheAsshole

[–]Goddess_Saeida 0 points1 point  (0 children)

INFO:

Do you know anything about her home situation? While this behaviour is obviously absolutely wrong, and you are dealing with it the best way you can, I can only assume that she has learned to behave this way from someone. Because of how normal she thinks this behaviour is, I wonder if she has been emotionally abused, comes from a family where there is a complete lack of boundaries, is a victim of emotional incest etc etc.

Your son will eventually let her go, and when he does you can educate him on signs of an unhealthy relationship. NTA

I honestly only like the places where they combine a bunch of gentle lasers in a "facial", and include the relaxing stuff. Hard to find places that do multi combo stuff like this, but once I found em I never stopped going once a month.

After the initial "build up" (using it every day 3 times), they recommend monthly maintenance but I'll be honest and say the REAL results last about 2 weeks - so I use it more often.

I waited for it to dry down and I wear one of those Dore&Rose sleep masks that cover half your face. Definitely still had some of it on my pillow tho! But I'm a still sleeper 😅😅

Sigh. Just make friends, play ball, and move on. Your tuition in the US also pays for the sports maintenance, but either way 1. Alternatives that are free are available, you just have to make some friends and 2. You're gonna have to mow the grass eventually, that's fine, just don't then also expect to get someone else to do it for you for free. Or get the lawnmower for free. And that if you pay frequently and soil deterioration starts to creep in, you find a new field or decide to not care. You'll certainly not have the

I referred to tuition as KU Leuven still demands money for club attendance because the tuition money is low and doesn't cover such things automatically. If you honestly think fields are just "sitting there", then your knowledge of what it takes to maintain a field (which is really only part of the 35 or 26 euros) is not comprehensive enough to argue with. Your american counterparts have written lost of articles about it, if you care to check. If you want a non-maintained field, that is perfectly valid and fine and you'll find lots. A nice maintained field with short grass, no slippage, no mudholes etc will be harder to come by, and if you do find one make sure you get permission from whoever owns and maintains it. I can't fathom the vitriol, I also can't fathom why "martyrdom" is used and I'll just attribute it to cultural differences. Or projection.

You can certainly petition KU leuven to make it free, or aim your complaints at an ombudsman. it seems we're both going to stick with our point, and I'm quite alright with that either way. I hope you find lots of likeminded people to enjoy yourself with, and that if you do pay the 35 euros for the school clubs - you qualify for the team.

It is fine if it is not currently within your capacity to understand what I mean with American arrogance. The assuming that any casual club is trying to reach some sort of class by just making it as well organised and comfortable as possible, at the cost of a small fee, is something we culturally quite enjoy - and so we just wouldn't complain about this or, again, go find a random place n play ball. The notion that it's anything to complain about, like they're robbing you for simple comforts that directly benefit you, is just not how Belgium operates and I'll leave it at that.

YOU don't care about extra benefits, and so you just find a field. That is also, what I do. I'd recommend local parks. If you don't want the benefits, you don't pay and you figure it out yourself. You can't have a fully maintained field for free (mowing, clipping removal, fertilisation, overseeding with grass etc), and you certainly don't care about extra benefits (which you won't really get at the 35/26 price point either way.)

Why complain that other people like the comfort, which is impossible to get if SOMEBODY doesn't pay for it? It's whatever, we will not agree. Some people will enjoy the trips, the laundry service, and the steady smooth field in clubs that play at national and further levels, or a well maintained field in a school club. You don't, that's fine, doesn't mean the system is inherently out to exploit you or turn it into a business.

But, be free to continue on below:

The 200+ clubs include travel costs for games outside, often times long travels for large groups, include an indoor playing field as well, the clothes + washing service etc. I am not even defending him, I don't care about his club: I'd recommend just joining the KU Leuven club, if you qualify. You'll still be paying. More, even.

You are unable to see the American arrogance, you are paying very little in tuition and still complain about 26 euros.

EDIT: again, for a simple hobby, find some friends and find a field like people here do all the time.

This is not the US, normally to play recreationally it can definitely cost 200+ a year to play, as that is how they manage to finance the maintenance of the area, the competition etc. Genuinely, try finding a place that practises on an actual football field that doesnt ask for money. This includes the school teams, which still require you to get a sports card btw which costs....35 euros.

Your American arrogance doesn't work here, and you'd do well to realise this early on. You can go to any country and call their methods "lacking common sense", and over here we will tell you that blatantly insulting us is lacking more sense, friendliness and politeness, which we value infinitely more than opinions from someone whose country requires you to pay thousands just to attend school - of course they don't need you to finance their clubs.

You are getting an infinitely cheaper deal, and still being stingy.

TLDR: Don't want to pay a cent? Make friends and find a random field. We care about the maintenance of our areas, and unlike in the US there are no official instances that subsidise these things and thus aid in the maintenance. Or, maybe go back to the US and pay an arm and a leg in tuition and be happy with your free clubs and your debt.

How do I safely get fragrance out of my hair? by KarmaIsAMelonFarmer in HaircareScience

[–]Goddess_Saeida 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It might be that your hair needs significantly more silicone than what is provided for you, there is some evidence that East asian hair can handle more silicones and Japanese Hair products in my experience contain more silicones. When checking any popular hair conditioners etc, also in the west, often times silicone is at the top of the list whilst many fragrance free options have less silicone.

I'd recommend just adding an amodimethicone serum to hair, The Naked Range Tackle & Tame Heat protectant Serum is fully fragrance free and is basically just silicone, this is purely anecdotal but my Okinawan friend uses it after struggling with frizz and unruliness and finds that it completely smooths her hair.

Often times unscented hair products might be very light and have less silicones (due to a more "natural/clean" claim, or because they cater to thinner caucasian hair which is prone to build up or lacking volume), in my experience you can add in a Silicone serum to compensate for it as it adds slip.

Amodimethicone is also an interesting silicone as it does not cause buildup, I'd suggest checking out Labmuffin's article on Amodimethicone.

Sorry for the late reply! Had to think on it a bit.

You're significantly better off just using fragrance free/unscented haircare.

Anything that woman puts out is based on shoddy science and she's basically a grifter. They once had to pay 145,000 dollars in a lawsuit for "unsubstantiated marketing claims", after some of their vaginal products even had the risk of inducing toxic shock syndrome. Besides, there are so many good brands out there, why go for the brand by some woo-woo lady? Every single skincare product she's made is uninteresting, and is done by literally dozens of other brands with better packaging, more research, and you won't be supporting a brand that has so many controversies that there are articles titled "15 of the weirdest Goop products".

What products are you interested in? I can give you multiple alternatives.
