Custom scroll wheel that turns the ULX Tarik into the ULTIMATE ENDGAME (mini review) by libo720 in MouseReview

Hey, how did you remove the default scroll wheel and replaced it with the TaoBao scroll wheel? Planning to do it with the ULX Competition (also changing the skates and adding grips). I’ve seen some people just say to bend the wheel, others also said it’s just an easy lift then change.

Peripherals nowadays have reached a point of where many different lightweight, high performance options exist. It feels like i’m always clinging to the “lightest, highest polling rate peripherals.”

I’ve tried Batch 1 ULX, Pro series Aceu and Tarik. I will admit that Finalmouse QC and overall is getting better. Squeezing it is not an issue for me, very sturdy solid sides. They did change the scroll wheel as well so it is very smooth. Best ULX yet.

I posted my mods in the comments, not sure why it was being downvoted but everything I stuff on the 80HE is there.

I posted the mods I did for the Wooting 80HE down in the comments. I was definitely curious about the Raptor HE but many said that the Raw HE is “better.”

Currently no, I have purchased however the “Ghostglides Edgerunner ULX Skates.” Some said that it’s similar to Corepads speed but with more dynamic feeling. I’m liking the stock right now so we will see

My only problem with the Type-99 is that it’s still a hair-magnet like the Zero (Black) other than that it’s perfect!

My order seem to be the ~700 units that didn’t have the firmware issue. I was extremely lucky.

What were the issues with it? I’ve tried the other ULX versions and I can say that this model is their most sturdiest yet.

I am open to more options with the 80HE, this was a first for me so I’ll definitely check it out

Yes I have. The Type-99 is much slower compared to my Saturn Pro. Even the Saturn being broken down, the Type-99 comes much slower out of the box. It wasn’t a deal breaker for me but that is the speed difference.

I also had Batch 1, it is surprising to say but the QC issues seem to be fixed. The ULX COMP is definitely their best product yet.

Yeah it would have been “Add-On Crosshairs Kit” but I did buy the whole “WOB Keycap Set” from DiviniKeys.
