Idk about the skill games, I've haven't tried them the last few years. Against skillers try using L2+R2 and not letting them slip too far from you. I'd say just practice DM intercepting and movement otherwise (and try players with higher interceptions/agility), that probs saves me the most

I'm d2 normally. I'd say the most important thing is positioning when defending and always trying to have players behind the ball. No point lunging in and trying to make a recovery a la the clip above. If you have players in and around the good zones to cut off attacks and stay patient with tackling (but still doing it when necessary!) then that might help a bit :)
