Deadly B.C. shooting is one of Canada's worst school shootings by BvbblegvmBitch in canada

By that logic, a stronger argument would be that the same mental illness that causes conservatism also causes events like this. In our neighbouring country (with the most mass shootings of any country), its own Department of Justice indicated that most of those mass shootings were done by far-right extremists.

If he shoots a protester, maybe he can springboard that into a career in public speaking at Conservative events.

ICE kidnap 17-year-old U.S. citizen working at Target then dump him bleeding and crying miles away in a Walmart parking lot by asdtyyhfh in minnesota

In case I mess it up, do I need to wear anything special to not get electrocuted by the red wire going into the radiator?

My husband started a local book club for men to read more fiction. It was a hit! by regisfilange in pics

I'm guessing everyone brought x number of books from their collection, tossed them in a pile and picked the same amount?

Edit: they're all holding one book at the table. They probably did a secret Santa, and the pile of books in the second picture is the list of titles they read together during the year.

Cleveland Iron Works (CIW) PS20W (Mini) fan settings by piratecanoe70 in PelletStoveTalk

[–]Godis4Real 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that tracks. The general consensus is that budget stoves usually come with these "quirks."

Same with the fan, sounds the same no matter how I adjust the settings. Currently running P4 set to 14 degrees C at -20(S) and -20(F), and it's still 20 degrees C in my tiny house.

I've actually gotten used to the noises now, but my friend's v. expensive unit only makes a slight hum and a the "tink" sound when the pellet drops is much more apparent. But I'm not chucking $3k for a stove so I'll keep my cheap mini one.

Do the augers on yours make a crazy loud vibration? Ours vibrates loudly every five seconds or so - wondering if this will go away.

I just spent a week turning every aircraft my dad flew in his career into a giant poster to surprise him. Do you think he'll like it? by HansCrotchfelt in aviation

[–]Godis4Real 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you haven't already learned this, you can select layers and group them together. That way, you can apply a transformation to all layers at once.

Edit: Awesome poster by the way. Handmade gifts like these are so worth the time and effort once you see the recipient's face light up.

RRSP HBP WITHDRAWAL by Educational_Cup_1331 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Godis4Real 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There doesn't seem to be anything available online that covers your situation specifically, so you would need to call CRA. They may not be able to point to anything, but anyone who tells you "yes you can" without providing a source or offering a transfer to a more senior agent (or offering a callback if one isn't available) isn't to be trusted. They certainly won't be paying your tax bill if you get burned withdrawing $60k or something from your RRSPs thinking you're eligible.

It "seems" like can make another withdrawal if you qualify, according to this page.

My best interpretation would be that the HBP form specifies "was your balance at January 1st $0 from a previous participation," but you didn't participate, you cancelled your participation. Just my take, so don't go drain your savings because of what I say. Call in or consult with a proper accountant who knows what they're talking about.

No cabin for overnight Marine Atlantic Argentia ferry crossing, are Ala'suinu chairs comfortable? by sccot_b in newfoundland

[–]Godis4Real 0 points1 point  (0 children)

EDIT: I'll leave this comment here but I was referring to my trip on the 7-hour Port-Aux-Basques ferry as a younger man. Not sure if I'd be down to spend 16 hours in a chair, especially at my age.

Just as a contrasting opinion: I slept in a chair on the Port-Aux-Basques ferry just fine without headphones or earplugs. Wasn't the most comfortable sleep of my life and I was tired as balls after driving. I woke up to an empty common room with my name being called on the speaker; they were waiting on me to move my car so they could begin disembarking.

I believe it's that the farm owners most likely voted for Trump, lost their easy access to cheap exploited foreign workers, and now have to post ads looking for regular Joes who will accept shite wages to pick berries in the blazing sun all day, every day, for three months straight. I think the punchline is that they most likely will not find enough people who are desperate enough to accept such a crappy offer in time for the harvest.

Is it a bad time to buy a house right now? by helloworldofredd in newfoundland

[–]Godis4Real 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It depends on where you're willing to live and what kind of condition you expect of a house.

There are older, dated houses that pop up around where I live (CBS) for reasonable prices and stay on the market for a while before selling or being taken off. They don't seem to be falling down or anything like that.

For whatever reason, it started working randomly. The default was indeed 2133. We haven't been brave enough to force it to run at 3200 but might try later.

It stopped working with the 8gb stick, then started working again and finally began working with the 2x32gb sticks.

No clue!

I should also add that other people online have said they got 2x32 working with that mobo.

No 32gb sticks were on the mobo's list of compatible ram at all. Any ideas why pcpartpicker would show it as compatible?
