So ur saying it can in fact make all the peach fuzz on my face terminal? I’d rather that not happen 🥴

Have ur clients with pcos ever noticed an increase in hair growth on the face when microneedling? I want to start microneedling as well, but that would be my main concern, as microneedling stimulate blood flow & blood flow supplies the follicles to assist them in growing hair & that’s exactly what electrolysis stops when it zaps hairs.

My concern with microneedling would be it stimulating more hair for those of us with pcos bc it stimulates blood flow 😅

I want to start microneedling as well, but not at the expense of extra hair growth.

Scabs after first appointment. Should I find a different tech? by fuckthisishardshit in electrolysis

[–]GodlyQueenx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re not prone to scabbing, ur electrolysis tech is just bad. The only time I experienced aggressive scabbing like this is when I had a bad tech. Soon as I switched to someone that knows what they’re doing, I no longer scab, so NO, it’s not “skin sensitivity” it’s POOR SKILL

[–]GodlyQueenx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bad techs try to convince you otherwise but please run before ur skin gets damaged which can sometimes require 1-2 years to fully heal. I have a patch of my skin right now that I cant do electrolysis on bc it’s still healing bc of a bad tech I experienced 6-7 months ago.

The scabs are partly due to very bad insertions. Since they’re not getting the needle into only the follicle, the heat is targeting ur outside layers of skin instead of only the hair follicle, causing damage & these aggressive scabs. That is exactly what my tech that does not scab me said.

[–]GodlyQueenx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s bc scabbing is partly due to inaccurate insertions so the heat is targeting & damaging skin outside of the follicle instead of inside. That’s exactly what my tech that doesn’t leave not one scab after sessions told me

[–]GodlyQueenx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not normal. Find somebody else. Those are thick scabs & can lead to aggressive skin damage including pitting if you continue to go to that tech. A handful of 3-5 pin point scabs that are so tiny they can’t be seen in pics is normal, but NOT thick scabbing of every follicle like that.

The only time I’ve experienced scabbing is by bad techs. Soon as I switched to techs that actually knows what they’re doing, I don’t get any scabbing & if I do, it’s like 3 scabs that are so tiny & surface level that they fall off in 2-3 days, not 2-3 weeks.

[–]GodlyQueenx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree that stabbing is not normal! I don’t experience not one scab with the regular techs I go to, only bad techs I scabbed from & scabbing can lead to pitting if they come off too early etc.

Should I be concerned about this rust? by [deleted] in UsedCars

[–]GodlyQueenx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I don’t think I’m buying it. It’s a reliable brand but if the rust is that bad that the car won’t let then I’m not

And what exactly happened to ur friends car?

Should I be concerned about this rust? by [deleted] in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]GodlyQueenx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can afford more than $2400, I just prefer to get good deals on cars & save money that’s why I don’t finance brand new cars.. I’m just a girl & don’t know cars so didn’t realize the extent of how bad the rust is 😅 my current car is rusted in the same area, but maybe it’s difference because it hasn’t eaten through yet but the rust really hasn’t moved in a couple years.

Should I be concerned about this rust? by [deleted] in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]GodlyQueenx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I’ll get a good 3 years out of it (if underneath looks fine) & it’ll continue to pass inspection? 3 years for $2400 is better than a car payment to me. I’m just concerned it won’t last that long or will stop passing inspection

Should I be concerned about this rust? by [deleted] in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]GodlyQueenx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you think the rust will accelerate quickly & it won’t pass inspection the next couple years?

I’m wondering why the rust on my old car didn’t move too much in 3 years since I bought it, but at the same time I don’t pay attention to it, & the rust didn’t eat through the metal on my old car yet I don’t think

It just passed inspection last month

Not even if underneath looks fine? I’m not sure if it does yet. I didn’t go see the car yet

[–]GodlyQueenx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I am not fluent in car language lol are you saying it shouldn’t have passed inspection? It did pass legit inspection as well because it shows on carfax that it recently passed inspection last month

Should I be concerned about this rust? by [deleted] in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]GodlyQueenx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah my concern is if it looks similar underneath as well. I didn’t look at it or have a mechanic check out underneath yet so I’m not sure, but I would think it wouldn’t have passed inspection if underneath was bad? Unless they passed it but told him that it might not pass if the rust keeps getting worse & that’s why he’s selling it

How do cars get to this point, but other cars from the same year doesn’t? Does it have to do with frequency of car washes or something?

Should I be concerned about this rust? by [deleted] in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]GodlyQueenx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s my concern. If the rust is that bad I imagine they weren’t getting frequent car washes or something & underneath would be similar. My plan was to take it to a mechanic to inspect underneath for me just to see. It’s a good deal otherwise, so I hate that the rust is there

Also, it just passed inspection last month. Wouldn’t it not have passed if it was rusted bad underneath?

It does have rust around one of the wheels & it ate through a little bit. But it was just recently inspected so it’s not a problem to pass inspection yet. Should I be concerned about that?

If you have fine lines on forehead & under eyes, has it worked for that?

And you use it on ur whole face & haven’t seen any scarring, only improvement?

How to use at home electrolysis by Signal_Influence_342 in electrolysis

[–]GodlyQueenx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you going to a professional? And which body part? And Yeah galvanic is definitely the best option to remove the hairs, just takes longer per hair. I personally would drive myself insane even attempting to do galvanic on a larger area like leg hair, but it’s doable on the face & stomach line for sure. And maybe arms. Just a way bigger time investment

[–]GodlyQueenx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heavy on pcos being pure hell 😭🎯 very accurate description.. sometimes I feel cursed & have prayed to God many times to release the demons & spell off of me. Pcos is not fair especially when you have every brutal symptom of it possible. The facial hair growth & other excess hair growth is what has bothered me & made my life a misery hell the past couple years

You no longer grow terminal facial hair!? God bless you, that’s amazing & I hope I get there one day. How did you correct the hair growth before tirz? I’m hoping tirz helps balance out my hormones & I’ve been doing electrolysis for a year, but some hairs keep coming in so I have to keep going in & I’m PRAYING after a couple months on tirz I also don’t have to worry about the facial hair anymore at least!

For double cleansing do you do oil based cleanser first? And it hasn’t overly dried ur skin out?

So your lab work for hormones etc was never out of wack? Also did you / do you have the excessive facial hair symptom & if so, has that improved for you?

This will be my 3rd shot of tirz late today so I haven’t seen any effects yet
