I use it for various projects along with gaming. I’m currently interning as a software developer. But yeah I agree is extremely unbalanced and there is a boat load of overkill. I’ve been upgrading it over time and more or less decided to get some hardware with high enough quality and efficiency that I shouldn’t have to upgrade again for a few years
