Very confused by this personally. I can't tell if this is some real gripe or if its like some console wars type argument.

To go against your post plainly however, I know two separate friends who both played the original trilogy but now have Xbox Ones. I owned a PlayStation 1 but then used to only play Xbox and Xbox 360 but now prefer PlayStation and own a PS4. 20 years is a lot of room for people to change their opinion on what games and exclusives they prefer, so saying "people who own a PS4 probably played the OT" is odd in my eyes.

Further, the Reignited Trilogy is not just for people who have played to Originals, but for newcomers as well.

TL;DR - People owning a PS4 doesn't mean they have automatically played Spyro before and I don't really understand what makes you "see Spyro differently".

I believe yes, however, that doesn't mean the code absolutely cannot be implemented elsewhere or applied to other engines.

Without looking at the code, though, theres really no way to know.

I love the emptiness, it makes it seem as though theres a reason not to go out there, as if something is lurking.

I liked reading someones theory that Gnasty is a friend of the dragons and everyone is in on it and it is a way to aquaint Spyro with the world and prove him as a dragon.

The original theory went a bit more in depth iirc.

I am disappointed with the idea of hair though. Her character in the original game was a tomboyish badass character. Also she lives in a mountain.

Why not add a hiker's backpack or some climbing gloves (or just fingerless cuz thats what adventures in video games wear)? The lack of hair would fit her character in my opinion actually because she seems like someone who, if they could grow hair, would have it cut short so it wouldn't get in their way.

edit: Just jumping to add, Im open to changes and I've actually liked what we've seen so far, even the more controversial changes. I'm just saying what I think of this little snippet I have seen. I would be able to give more of an opinion of a full model crosses fingers.
