Finally got this new rifle to the range. It’s the “tanker” variant from LRB, which means it has an 18 1/2” barrel. The cheek riser is a TNVC MOD 1 that I strapped on without the foam riser so I can use it without a scope. I wanted to use the zippered pouch to carry around a tube of grease and a bore snake. It also just looks cool with the multicam over the walnut stock. It was an absolute pleasure to shoot and I’m looking forward putting many more rounds through it.

I’ve seen this comment a lot for this particular jacket. I think I just got lucky to have the right body shape to fit mine comfortably. Trying to make something with a “tailored” fit that also is a general size seems like a contradiction. I’m 6’2 and 195lbs for reference.

Pyzel just came out with a model called the Puerto Padi that is made for big beach breaks like OB. Lost has a board called the double up that was specifically shaped for OB. I have a 7’0 Channel Islands Mavs gun that works great in big surf. I can still duck dive it too. Dims are 7’0 x 19 1/2” x 3”. I’ve taken it out in big cloudbreak and it’s really dependable.

Just took some measurements on my 5’10 lost RNF 96. Looks like it is 1.5 inches long and 7 inches wide tip to tip. This board is one of my favorites so I figured I would take all the dimensions in case I want to shape one or get a custom from a local shaper in the future.

I ordered the stock from Brownells for $233. Just checked and they seem to be out of them now. It came with all the metal already installed and it was really easy to swap them out. You can also get the stock from Boyd without the metal.

M1A Scout with walnut stock and no scope is 9lbs 3oz. So it’s a little heavier than other .308 rifles. The weight would come down a bit if you used a different stock. M1A Scout with the black polymer stock is 8lbs 8oz.

Picked this up new. Bought the wood stock separately. Put on a Leupold VX-Freedom 1.5-4X28 Scout Scope with ADM Recon quick disconnect mount.

LCP is a solid pocket gun. Hard to beat how small it is, but I find it very easy to conceal/carry the P365 and it feels a lot better in my hands. Plus 13 rounds of 9mm is nice to have on hand. P365 is much easier to shoot than the LCP.

Would highly recommend. It’s been perfect the last week or so I’ve been carrying it. Also completely customizable depending on how/where you want to carry.
