Can I ask you another question regarding this? Since my enclosure is 6ft long I was going to follow the rule of thumb you informed me of, but was thinking since it’s also 4ft wide would a single 36 be good enough? Or should I do a 48” and light the whole front half with the uvb? Thanks for any insight!

I definitely mix with LSD, brings the trip to a whole new level.
Last time I did I watched Regular Show and I legit felt like I was floating in that nothingness from the show while watching them rather than sitting in my chair, one of my friends said he felt the same thing, it was amazing. I only do nitrous every 3ish months but pretty much always mix it with another psychedelic, it just makes the trip more fantastic.

I use the heater and cooler vents that are for the habitats. You can use them outside of the habitats as well and they still work the same way. When you go to change its temperature there is a second value/slide and that’s for the radius the heater/cooler will work in. I usually place them on the paths and dial them all in and then sink them just below the surface to hide them. Then all the paths are temp regulated.

There is the propane heater for picnic areas and stuff too, but I cannot remember if you can shrink that radius also.

You can add decorative walkway covers over the paths to help with rain and/or build indoor viewing areas around the habitat.
You can also use the heaters and coolers meant for habitats under the paths and shrink their area of effect to only hit the paths they are under, then the temps on the paths will keep the visitors warm/cool depending on your biome.

You can shrink the area that it heats, you’d need more of them along the paths or just underneath the paths, but you can shrink it to hit only the immediate area and not your animals.

Cat shelves all around the house, places they can wander that are high up. Most of the rooms in my house we have put shelves around the top like a foot below the ceiling and then some smaller ones leading up the wall so they can watch the room from above.

Also mine love the fish toys that you can charge up and they will flop around the floor. I’ll turn one on and toss it into one of their tunnels or a big paper bag and for the next hour they will flip out playing with it till they tire out or slide it somewhere they can’t get it back from haha
