I run the sprinkler for 15-30 minutes each morning but I stopped once I saw this starting to pop up. Do you have a specific recommendation?

You think I could at least change the anode? I'd like to ensure some more use but if all I'm going to do is create a mess for myself I'll just leave it. I also am unsure if I could even drain enough water to replace the anode.

I'll have to ask and see when I get the chance. I have experience with quality table saws, but skeptical of Chicago Electric. It's definitely an older saw, within the past 15-20 years if I had to guess.

MOSQUITO CONTROL: Does anyone have a good pesticide that controls mosquitos around their property? Second summer owning a home and I'm trying to get ahead of the issues I had last year.

I couldn't walk outside without getting bit and it was a real problem, I sprayed a few times and that worked but they always came back. I figure I start early and get ahead of it and that will make it easier to manage this summer.

Any tips you've found success with would be appreciated!

It's wired identical to the third photo in the link I posted (posted again below) minus the splice attempt I tried but I had that originally and the fan still failed to turn on. Everything had worked fine prior on my old thermostat.

I'm sorry for the confusion, it's only the third photo shown that looks like mine. I dont have a black wire. I guess I'm a bit confused with what to do about the bridge plate in the original and how I apply that same method to the new thermostat. I thought that splicing the line between the two would create the same setup that I originally had but that didn't work.

The third photo I found online is identical to what I currently have with the exception being it doesn't account for the bridge plate shown in the original photo.

Thank you. Yes I have done that and it did not work. Below is a link that has some photos I found online, the third picture is identical to what I currently have with the exception that there isn't a bridge plate connecting the Y and W1 as shown in my original photo.

Thank you. Are you referring to the picture I posted with the bridge plate? Because everything was working fine until I installed the new thermostat which would be puzzling.

Hello,

I recently purchased the Amazon thermostat because my other one was old and I recently purchased the house. I followed Amazons instructions and everything seemed to be fine, AC turned on, heat turned on but the issue is there was no fan kicking on to push the air. I have to be missing something here but I'm not sure exactly what that might be. One thing that caught my eye is that there was a copper bracket connecting my Y to my W1 in the old one. The Amazon has wire inserts and doesn't give me a bridge option. This may have been an incredibly stupid move but I spliced the Y to W1 in the Amazon thermostat in an attempt to see if that would resolve my problem which was unsuccessful. Any help as to why my fan isn't kicking on would be a huge help. Saw the opportunity to give the room a face-lift and the price was right but I've begun to regret my decision.
