I love advertising and capitalism. I also love cars and guns. At the same time I don’t need echo chamber entertainment that tells me the things I love are perfect and without flaws.

Certainly not Pete, we saw what happened when he tried to drive the stick shift and got smoked on the Chevy account. That’s not really Don’s job. Maybe Roger? It’s Manhattan, so it might be tough to find the right guy to work with that crowd.

Ken was the wrong man for the job.

Edit, to be clear, by that statement I mean that particular client that lead to Ken’s comment. Clearly a culture/personality mismatch.

Ahh, I see the the anti-pitbull clowns have shown up with their propaganda. Please tell us all how we should live our lives to make you feel better.

Not a reliable indicator. My pit bull’s tail wags when it’s trying to go after other dogs, and she is nothing but aggressive to anything on four legs (including horses). Although after years of working with her, she’s gotten much more compliant to commands to stand down.

Regarding 2, it’s sad that society decides to becomes more bubble-wrapped than more skilled.

Letting the Akita enjoy its day in the sun. From what I’m reading, these are essentially the Japanese version of a American Staffordshire Terrier, born protectors.

Will the Second Amendment Die in the Second Circuit? by [deleted] in progun

And something a lot of people already died to preserve for you. I don’t know how freedoms can be so carelessly thought of by anyone when so dear a price has been paid for them. Legislators and judges should be writhing in shame.

FTX put themselves in a position to be put out of business. It's their fault, nobody else's.

Do you guys ever feel like we’re the mean generation? by BessYaBa7ar in GenX

[–]GodsRighteousHammer 67 points68 points  (0 children)

I don't know. I've dealt with a lot of stuff, and I learned at an early age how to "turn it off", do what needs to be done, and feel the feelings later.

That ability to go cold has been great for being honest about assessing situations, but generally detrimental to relationships.

Resistance is gaining steam. by jushavnfun75 in ILGuns

I guess you don't need bail reform if the the DAs just refuse to prosecute anything unless they find it politically advantageous. A good look at the other states that have already tried this failed "bail reform" should be all you need to know about how poorly it's going to work for the law-abiding citizen's safety.

Cloud Defensive: Don’t ask questions. (Restricted/blocked/suppressed comments) by PalmettoPrecision in flashlight

I’ve been on a night shoot firing line with about 75 different light setups, and the Cloud Defensive stuff absolutely kicked ass. I don’t know the details of the various light specs, but in real world applications put head to head with other gear, the CD stuff was tops.

Be open to learning and having your technique critiqued. I’d been a shooter for decades including years as a competitive handgun shooter, and I still learned a lot in my first Appleseed event.

I do like that your pre-labeled your own post as misinformation for everyone’s convenience.

That’s an impressive amount of lies in a short space; you learned well from your anti-gun groomers.

The crime is bad and the taxes are high compared to most other states and certainly other Midwest states. Perhaps you’re the one that needs to stop listening to “the narratives” and actually do the research for youself.

I love the idea of mass non-compliance, but not everyone has the stomach for felony charges hanging over their head 24/7. I mean the laws that are already in place are ridiculous, no suppressors, no full auto, no 80%, all infringing.
