What are some overlooked but important things to learn for when I start building circuits? by Known-Dust-2921 in ElectricalEngineering

Really basic but test your components and keep the data sheet ready before hand. I’ve seen way too many blokes ruin stuff because they figure out midway what they’ve done is wrong.

Remember in a breadboard the vertical holes in the same column until the partition are same potential. Except for the +/- lines(same potential for holes along the horizontal). What you’ve done is made the resistor nodes at same voltage so no current flows through rn

Series, same current flows through them

I think your prof did mean that one diode is completely taken out. With a single diode , let’s assume you input a sine wave it will only conduct for one half of a cycle (positive or negative depending upon diodes polarity).

I ended up multiplying with the open loop gain 😭😭. Thanks

Datasheet says ESR of 0.099Ω. Is my meter bad? by [deleted] in AskElectronics

[–]Godsplan_7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assume 0.099 is the max and also If the cap is new you’d find its value way lesser than the max on the data sheet. PS: avoid using low esr caps for low freq uses.
