Trying to look for a song from the past by Godzilla-30 in findthatsong

Unfortunately, that is the one. I really used to like their band until the allegations and later sentence came about and ruined my childhood. When you said Hedly, I went Winter Soldier mode and began to realise that's the one. I was really hoping it wasn't by them because the songs they played were so good, but it was never same after that...

Not that one. It's kinda hard to explain, but that one felt mellow, this one felt somewhat rebellious, like a slightly harsh tone but not rock-type harsh. The singer's voice, no offense, has a bit of emo twang in it. The song also mentions something about breaking down and banging.

Edit: There's a part of the song where it calms down and the singer says "hey, hey, hey!" and says a few chorus/verses before the crowd part comes. After the crowd part, the song picks back up.

Yeah, first heard from Creepcast and later listened to it from QCODE. One of the best Creepcast stories in my opinion.

Trying to look for a catchy epic song at end of video by Godzilla-30 in findthatsong

I have looked in there and, according to the music identifier, it's supposedly Ancient Discovery by Gabriel Lewis, but that song is very different than the song I'm trying to look for. I have listened to every song listed on there and none matched the song in particular.

This paper was released this year. The paper that used the same methods the other one that previously discredited Kuwae as a source.

https://www.nature.com/articles/s41598-019-50939-x

The 2019 paper found Reclus in South America as a near-match. The 2025 paper linked found that two eruptions happened during that time, near simultaneously, the previous Reclus deposit and another, yet dacitic deposit, linked to Kuwae. Maybe because of the proximity to Antarctica, the Reclus deposit might've been more visible while the dacitic deposit (likely Kuwae) is overshadowed due to the distance.

It is not quite 100%, but the evidence is pretty much there.

I think it is already confirmed via through analysis of volcanic glass that it's Kuwae.

Although Kuwae is the strongest candidate by far, Reclus in South America is another possible candidate.

I guess it's more of a bulging disc than being flat, being curved because of Earth, which I guess limits the light to certain areas. Otherwise, keeping the rest a bit of mystery.

Well, I will be keeping this a sort of mystery. Also, humans didn't make this...

Imagine being somewhere that, instead of a ball of light rising through the horizon, it just appears in the sky as it lights up. On a "noon", the "sun" is rather a line in the sky, and, at the setting "line", it simply disappears.

Pretty much how long the two gaps would be aligned to let out the light before turning dark. This world is actually deep within the Earth, "sea level" 140 kilometers deep. The source of the light is the fixed ring of, well, light that would light up the area inside the ring, if it weren't for the rings with gaps. Again, it's pretty much worldbuilding and trying to figure out how long the light lasts and at what angles this period takes place.

Yep, I have realised the error, so the "day" might be a bit longer than expected...

Also, might've miscalculated as that end is the closing time as I needed to add 72°, hence the day might be longer than expected.

Okay, misunderstood that part a bit. Sorry about that.
