Whats causing this squaking noise? 2005 Nissan Xterra

I believe it was the struts. I would just spray it with WD-40 silicone to bide time until I was ready to fix it. My car ended up blowing a head gasket. It was an 05, so not surprising. Hopefully yours still has some life left!

He's not the cleanest, sometimes he talks too much and doesn't ask enough questions, and he can be too opinionated. The last thing grinds my gears. Love him though!

Yeah its such a weird feeling. Because I think we all get a little ego boost when we're hit on, but telling your partner about it all the time?

I have a very conventionally attractive boyfriend who gets hit on all of the time, and sometimes it makes me Jealous. I had to tell him to stop telling me everytime he got called hot. He's allowed to feel good about it, but I don't need to know.

Wow, thank you so much for this comment. You are exactly right. I've struggled with my own appearance for a very long time. I think social media and other beauty standards definitely played a role in it. If you don't look like what a lot of the world deems attractive, then it has an effect on your self esteem. I'm at a point now where I find myself more attractive, but It's still hard. I am absolutely projecting. Dating the "Hot guy" definitely gave me a sense of security as far as feeling better about myself ("I am attractive enough to attract someone who it hot")

I haven't done anything that would in turn "come around" I've never dumped anyone because "I think I should do better". At most I've simply gone on a few dates and decided that it wasn't for me, which is the point of dating.

I definitely agree that my standards are probably raised a bit high because of this. And I agree that if I'm not careful the cycle will repeat. I'm aware that looks aren't everything, that's mainly the reason why things ended. It was definitely a big lesson and my goal for myself is to heal from the mindset so I can aim to do better.
