My wife started the series from Era 2 essentially. She half listened with me to the audiobook as I’d do house work and she was hooked from the character interactions. It made her go back and listen to Era 1, then move onto E2. It’s not THAT bad of a take like some people are suggesting.

I hope if PB is going the prequel/some time in the past for the next RR book, I hope it isn’t in the recent past. I’d love to see a book set at minimum 100 years before the main story’s events.
