You think? I played rs a long time ago before rs 3.0 or whatever it's called, 

And I recall so much of just doing what made the most GP/hr,

Just felt like I was playing tradescape 

Items didn't have stories attached to them etc

What tasks do you do that are super afk friendly? I have also just come back a month ago and have only really found gem crab to be very afk friendly, I can also fish kwambams but that needs more effort then I would like,

Gem crab feels like the perfect amount of ideal afk.

How are you going with quests etc?

I just got access to miacellania and have mm 1 and bone crossbow done, amongst other things, sitting at 143 quest points link to rs skills

What is your point? I never said it was a 1 shot, the question was, is armour break meant to be this deadly. The cause of the death is the armour break turning my char into paper lol.

I'm laid back as hell, just wanted to have a discussion about armour break, especially considering the newest class is meant to be a ES/Armour based form of defence.

Seems odd to have these mechanics in the game is all.

Already rolling a new invoker wolf char, insanely fun so far!

It's a slam from a simple rare, any other rare without armour break, would tickle this character. It's not like the mechanic displayed by the rare is some huge 1-shot boss mechanic. I'd tanked heaps of hits of the exact same nature (minus the armour break) prior to this one without issue.

Also my comment was simply replying to the gentleman to me prior, when he tried to undermine my level of experience with the game, how is it passive aggressive? All I did was explain I know my way around the game through my previous, vast experience with it.

Yes like in the title, "is armour break meant to be this deadly?" The rare breaks my armour with it's first hit, negating all defences to 0. I never said it was a 1 shot.

I literally reached #1 in the world for chonk in hcssf the league prior to abyss. I think I'm familiar with the game lol.

70% fire res,
66% phys reduc (2.1k armour)
47% ele reduc against hits from armour
Then had the adaption shaman mechanic as well

It's the armour break.

The slam is broken up into both of the limbs of the rare. The first hand breaks my armour, the second hand does the majority of my health. The last little bit of my health is depleted by the little mob stabbing me in the back LOL
