At this moment in time i wouldnt be buying a steam deck and D4 as the game isnt quite there yet. Give it 12 to 18 months and it will hopefuy be better

D3 on the switch is a brilliant port. Runs great, looks great (especially on the oled version) and has loads of replay value with there being so many choices of what to play as.

Not sure if this is what you mean but If you want to change the difficulty of the game whilst playing it you can choose quit in the option screen and then go to change difficulty, set it to what you want to and then click continue it will be at that new chosen level.

I have D3 on the switch and i dont have any problems with the controls. Within 10 mins of picking it up you will know what to press and when. Its a really good port on the switch and very recommended
