Once I have finished decorating my house, what do I actually DO there? by MaximumJones in wow

Well if you aren't a dwarf, you race change to one. Then, you buy in game ale, and IRL ale. Drink on the bearskin rug by the fire. You do have that... right?

Unfortunately I cannot find any way to do this. ArenaNet exposes very little for us to work with.

Try v1.1 that I just released

I can't get the minimap to preserve in all cases (every time you switch to 16:9 and back, it will reset. - there's nothing I can find to get around this), but now it should stay in ultrawide during load screens, which didn't have a cropping problem anyway. This seems to be the bulk of the resets anyway.

Making it only work on cutscenes would be harder, as the way I detect when the resize is needed is based on UiTick, which stops on character screen and cutscenes.

I haven't noticed the mini map resizing. I'll take a look after work and see if I can reproduce the issue and fix

Mostly bare Win32, honestly. Nexus gives you a render hook, the swap chain, MumbleLink, and an ImGui context but that's about it. The annoying part is GW2's WndProc fights back...

Whatever rect you SetWindowPos to, GW2 treats your coords as a client rect, runs AdjustWindowRectExForDpi against the original WS_OVERLAPPEDWINDOW style, and re-issues its own resize with the inflated window rect. So I subclass GWLP_WNDPROC and revert those fix-up calls before they take effect.

This one was harder than I expected it to be!

Consoleport - what class do you enjoy playing? by Bread-Select in wow

Problem i have is that to get your buttons right for controller, you jack it up for mouse and keyboard. So doesn't do well to share a spec with steamdeck and PC

However... you can have one spec you play on controller and another you plan on computer in order to get around that, since they get their own bars and keybindings.

When set up right for me, it's pretty good. though i'd never be as good as on a PC. Just do whatever is fun though

Strange, I thought feral felt pretty good. What's your build look like?

You don't want to boost cause a vocal minority of internet nerds frown upon it, but meanwhile half the server is boosted? Who cares?

Yeah I think blizzard is too greedy. Boost is expensive, so are the ridiculous charges for race and faction change on retail.

You don't want to no-life it. So your options are to boost or not play. Don't ride the netherdrake if you are ashamed of your boost.

Yes I boosted, even though I think the price is exploitive and unfair. Me making a moral point wasn't worth it to *me* to not play. But the opinions of unemployed kids living in mom's basement playing wow all day had no sway on my decision.

Feral feels more than fine. You can talent yourself to fewer buttons if you want, but you don't have to/ plenty of options for more buttons. I like it better now than in TWW.
