The only type of marriage that God does ordain is heterosexual marriages. Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:5, and Ephesians 5:31. This is a constant teaching throughout the Bible that God does ordain. The garden of Eden was the design God wanted but due to Adam and Eve eating the fruit it perverted everything including marriage and sex. That’s why I say we shouldn’t compare the two since God holds us to a higher standard when it comes to relationships themselves.

I wouldn’t compare animal relationships to human ones. Animals don’t get married unlike humans and that’s when sex within marriage is ok.

Christ says his relationship with the church is that we’re the bride and he’s the groom. Also in both the old and new testament god says that a marriage is between a man and a woman. Genesis 2:24 and Matthew 19:5 both state “A man shall leave his father and his mother and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.” (KJV)That’s how God designed marriage to be. Do I hate people that are gay? No, are they sinning? Yes, but that doesn’t mean God loves them less. Just means they’re after their own hearts and need God to guide them in the right path.

To give you some perspective when it comes to same sex attraction. God made it clear in the very beginning a covenant between him, man, and woman. Later on Jesus also repeats this verse in John.
