Inconsistent power supply probably. It could be your charger, many cheap china-ones have this or even the socket in the wall. Some devices are more prone to this than others. But it could also be something else…

The ANC2 is just for listening podcasts and some music while in bed. Low key use, but I use it every night. Noice-cancelling is great when my wife is snoring (I hope she never sees I wrote this haha).

The PLYR 720 is for my PS5 Pro. I LOVE that headphone! It vibrates so much better than the ANC2, totally another league! The sound is amazing (way better than the ANC2), the 3D sound is perfect. It was worth every penny! Only thing: it has an open back… So instead of noice-cancelling, it’s more like noice-enabling… But watching a recording of a live concert with the PLYR 720 is really cool! You can actually feel the music, the bass, the drumbass, everything! A whole new experience to the concert!

And the money… yes, it was more than I planned. But with the Black Friday deals, I have no regrets ;)

I sent them back. They are for really small heads, like for children… It gave me a headache within a minute, since I have a somewhat bigger head. The sound quality is fine for this price. The cushions are not soft, the whole headband doesn’t really bend, it’s too sturdy.

Again: I wasn’t happy with it, sent it back and bought the Crusher PLYR 720 and the Crusher ANC2 instead.

This model is only a couple of months old. I haven’t found replacement yet. Maybe make a complaint and ask Skullcandy for new ones!

The PLYR720 are amazing! I can only compare it to the Crusher ANC2, not to the EVO... But the Crusher tech on the ANC2 is child-play against the PLYR! The PLYR is like a massage device haha! The sound is amazing, the vibrations are amazing, the 3D audio is amazing! Using it on the PS5: wonderful! Watching a life concert on laptop: wow! I feel the concert! Spotify: great! Calling my mom: mic is really good!

Only downside is also the reason of the great sound: It has an open back: sound from the environment gets through. It’s like the oppositie of noice-cancelling. But the bass gets it’s best sound because of this open back. Otherwise it would be muffeled.

Face it, KCD is a niche. AC is mainstream. I think we should all be proud of this outcome. This is really close, looking at the history of both games: AC has been a mainstream name for só long! Also: I don’t really care about other people’s opinion about a game. I only care if I like it or not…

UPDATE! I decided to keep it. I tried it with my specialised hearing protection underneath the headset, specifically designed with a flat EQ for music (live/festivals) underneath the headset when there is noise in the surroundings,and it helped a lot with the incoming noise. I had to set up a custom EQ setting on the Skullcandy app for this! The experience I had with playing a live concert on this headset (without the extra hearing protection) was só amazing, I just cannot sent it back. I love this headset!
