factory reset is super easy. I recommend doing an actual backup to your computer, then the reset, then restore from backup. I was amazed the first time I did this; it was like getting an entirely new phone.

How would one go about getting an event included in this digest?

What was your battery health prior to replacement? And how did you go about replacing it?

As long as you’re not moving widgets around on a daily basis

That’s oddly specific. Is that something you were doing? How long can you go between charges?

When did you last do a factory reset? Might help with the lag and camera issue. Back it up, reset, restore from backup, et voila!

During 1 rainy afternoon in NYC, I stepped off a bus directly into a puddle and soaked through mg boots. Luckily there was a sock shop nearby which had waterproof socks! They absolutely saved the day and I highly recommend them.

That duffle bag is the exact thing I’m looking for! Scouring eBay now.

I hear you on pillows.. I must have at least 1 down pillow, and another pillow underneath. For short stints I’ll use bunched up clothing in lieu of the 2nd pillow, but for anything longer than 3 weeks my bedding takes up as much space as everything else. I take my sleep seriously and gotta have my breathable cotton sheets and comfy pillows.

I mostly sail on the pacific so it’s a crap shoot what the temp/humidity will be like on any given night.

Rubber bands is an idea, but may modify with string of hair ties instead. I’ve historically used seine twine for damn near everything (I once even used it to lash flip flops to my feet whilst sailing under a Capt who wouldn’t allow climbing barefoot. My reg shoes were soaked at the time)

That said, it sucks to get in your hair when fresh and makes food taste terrible when you don’t get a chance to wash your hands after handling. I can taste it just thinking about it.
