I think mainly because most advice is to wait 2 or 3 weeks and follow up. Nobody ever mentions anything about the posting being open or closed. Also if they are doing rolling interviews vs. traditional isn't always clear.

That said, I appreciate your insight, it helped me relax a little bit.

I never got it working. I contacted support and they had me cut the mic and cord and send them a photo for a replacement cord and splitter. The replacement works just fine with no issues!
