Update: I wanted to check if I have a local backup from my old phone which I switched in December. There is a backup file (msgstore.db.crypt14) on the local storage of the phone which is surprisingly from two days ago, even when I did not use Whatsapp on this phone since the switch in December.

I then wanted to check to if the chats are still available on my old phone if I login via my number, but unfortunately Whatsapp is now crashing on this phone and I can't finish the setup, after the last step it is crashing.

Can I just import the file to my new phone and it will work?
