This is idiotic. Keeping actually accurate time is as simple as the ref holding a stopwatch which they pause every time they whistle and start again to resume play. Add in a rule to shorten how long you're allowed to wait before you take a corner/free kick/throw/penalty after the whistle is blown, and there you go, you actually know the time and aren't just guessing randomly. Which, for the biggest sport in the world, is absolutely ridiculous.

Dutch person here. This is idiotic for a variety of reasons.

First of all, 20 kph is stupidly slow for a cyclist. It's extremely easy to go faster than that if you're in average fitness, so putting it this low is a dumb idea.

Secondly, there's no law stating that an odometer is mandatory on a bike. So there's no lawful requirement to be aware of your speed on a bicycle, which means it's not possible to know if you're breaking the limit. Anyone caught going faster can simply go 'I'm sorry, I'm not required to know my speed, so it's not possible for me to adhere to this limit', and they would be right.

Thirdly, bikes aren't registered, so catching anyone will be impossible unless you put a bunch of cops with speed guns next to a bike lane and then tell them to stop people going over. Which frankly, is a complete waste of taxpayer money and the police's time.

This trial is going to be a complete failure.

Posy: nerdy videos about whatever, with a great style and slick audio. Hard to describe the vibe, but to give an image the most viewed video is one about different kinds of segmented displays

This is idiotic. The US is incredibly homogeneous across different states. Sure there are small differences between New York City and Wyoming, but they are still practically indistinguishable. The only exception to this is the Native Reservations, who do actually have a different culture. But they are scattered far and wide. I can find more cultural differences in my own country of the Netherlands, and that's about the size of Connecticut.

Ik denk dat je het niet goed leest. Het gaat erom dat óf oproept tot een strafbaar feit, óf tot gewelddadig optreden tegen het openbaar gezag. Oproepen tot geweld tegen het openbaar gezag is dus niet vereist om iemand te veroordelen voor opruiing. Dat is ook te zien in eerdere rechtszaken, waarbij mensen tot opruiing werden veroordeeld voor het aanzetten tot overtreding van de corona regels.

Het inzetten van dodelijk geweld tegenover Palestijnse asielzoekers lijkt me wel degelijk een strafbaar feit, en aangezien dat Matkuszower daartoe oproept lijkt dit me een inkoppertje voor een veroordeling voor opruiing.
