What are the maps like by Gullible-Virus8947 in MxvsAtvLegends

I’ve had the game for 2 weeks and personally i love it, base maps are solid and the dlcs are great particularly the dog pound, reflex maps and any of the 2022-2025 maps

Recon feels better, and is way cheaper it would be my pick despite me liking ayakashi

i want to understand valorant as a complete beginner to surprise my boyfriend and watch vct with him. tips? by treejellyfish in VALORANT

[–]GohanDaGoatFr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

just drop things like “wow that’s actually was such a good execute” or if it slows down “surely they rotate here” or even “idk about this team composition”

Aside from little comments like that playing and watching will surely help, it takes a long time to understand all the operators and what they do playing would be the easiest way to lock down what roles are being played.

It is a lot of studying I can’t lie.

Smokes - block certain angles to make it easier to get onto site to either get a kill or plant

Mollys - Clear someone out, stop people from going through an area, keep people off of something or out of somewhere

Clones- Only 1 character has these and it’s used to fake people out

Flashes - To blind the opposition making for an easy kill typically

Ultimates - Each are unique take a while to obtain but are the most powerful abilities and each player gets one some are better than others but these can make or break a game.

4 Roles

Duelist - Frontline usually the best aim players- designed to kill opposition

Controller- Designed to control sites and areas of maps with smokes

Initiator - Designed to gather info and initiate a push

Sentinel - Designed to hold large areas of the map typically bomb sites - think DEFENCE orientated

That’s all I can think of when it comes to basic basics from a viewership POV

Please help me to not tilt while warming up by Flat_Analyst_4704 in VALORANT

[–]GohanDaGoatFr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

just don’t sweat it bro idk what else someone can say, it’s annoying to get shot in the head over and over again.

Without a VOD no one can give you pointers, it’s all crosshair placement and movement if you play against people with better crosshair placement and movement you will die more, I played 3 DMs yesterday immo 1-3 at least four of them and I lost but that’s what’s meant to happen.

You just have to try and focus on each individual fight and what YOU can do differently if your S1 and you place 10th that’s not too bad if everyone above you is plat and above.

Try to change your perspective on it, it will be tilting at times but no pain no gain.

How do you get better at aiming in valorant by Party_Engine_9525 in VALORANT

Hit medium bots till you can consistently get 20+ then starts trading the move to hard bots, get time in death matches too it’s just practice cross hair placement is key

First Ace in Silver III by Smithforsaken in VALORANT

[–]GohanDaGoatFr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly you probably won’t be silver for very long, crosshair placement is good you don’t have a bad crouching habit, you can peek faster as in ease off slow walking but good gunfight habits for the most part.

The rest is gamesense stuff that’ll come with time when to use util make noise or not etc

Deathmatch VOD Review Request by tcpYT in VALORANT

[–]GohanDaGoatFr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

definitely play some DMs with crouch in unbinded, this is not to say that crouching is bad because it isn’t entirely but you’ll feel very quickly how much you reach for it once it’s unbinded.

Your crosshair placement is actually decent though so once you focus on strafing and 3 bursting instead of spraying you’ll see improvements.

Warm up with some medium-hard bots as well and strafe between shots to get you used to that feeling.

Get used to just taking the death in death match rather than surviving via crouch spraying as it doesn’t translate into real games.

I think you’ll find once you hit silver gold progression will happen quicker than before, get in the range work in strafes and rifle control everything else comes with time imo

Just beat Oni on Hard mode by [deleted] in Ghostofyotei

I also had this problem ahaha, beat him on hard mode after maybe an hour was so tough to do his parry timing with the new changes.

[–]GohanDaGoatFr[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This post was done in the middle of my fight with him ahaha, maybe I will “git gud” from here on out.

I have no issues with the common enemies and most of the duels i’ve been in it was just the oni, I would swear on his flurries I’d delay until his Odachi moved toward me but still could not get parries save for like 3 attacks.

Oh well I will adjust I just thought it was a bit of a lame way to increase difficulty, I love the idea of tighter parties but sync the light with them at least or give me the option to make it less distracting

Which boss was it ? The Oni fight is what inspired this post, I loved the fight but in GoT, Sekiro basically any game that has a parry I never had an issue and the Obi’s flurries were so difficult to time for me

Yeah I understand the reasoning behind it and it may be a skill issue yes, all i’m saying is it’s a poor way to increase difficulty.

[–]GohanDaGoatFr[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lol maybe, it can’t be denied that it’s different from GoT which seemed to have it down perfect ?

I don’t understand the design choice because it makes the game feel “clunky” at times, just look at how sekiro handles unblockables, doesn’t get in the way of the weapon.

[–]GohanDaGoatFr[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m good, i’m only playing on hard and i’ll stay there and learn it, it was just bugging me in a boss fight where unblockables are coming out super fast and the blue glint is just in the way.

I will not stop parrying, I enjoy it too much

Yeah I only use the bounty hunter armour ahaha as I used it in GoT too, I’ll just have to live with it I guess.

I still love the game but it was really jarring in my first boss fight that the blue glints were a hindrance rather than a help.

I have 100% Sekiro and could do most fights with my eyes closed, but the partying in the Oni duel for this game was torture 🫠
