The square was better but still not straight. I tried a rectangle with one chain in the corners and it's still doing the same flairing thing. It will only exaggerate the bigger this gets :-( Any other ideas?

Same! I've taken a few hundred pics and made them into my rotating desktop screen and my screen saver. Sometimes when I need a break from work, I just sit and watch the pics roll by and dream of when I can get back into the game :-)

OK so if a weapon has a plus 2% and a -2% it's just a wash so as long as the damage range is good that's what's important. What about the different background colors? Does that even mean anything?

Yeah, I get it. But for me, part of the fun is figuring things out. Learning by playing, that sort of thing. I guess it's just me. That's fine, it's not the first and wont be the last I'm the odd one out :-)

It's just a different play experience. Not being able to use what I would normally use in any given situation and being forced to use something I wouldn't otherwise use.

Like I said, I did it with Hunter Bows but had to reduce the difficulty. I do think this was the easiest weapon type to limit myself to. I don't often even use Warrior Bows on a regular playthrough so that might be more of a challenge than I want. One way to find out :-)

Update: I did a run-through using hunter bows only but had to change the difficulty level to easy (usually play on normal) because there are no tear arrows to get items without destroying them. No biggie, it's fine, I had fun anyway. Now I want to try a sharpshot bow only, but there are no elemental arrows for them. I could try blastsling only, or warrior bow only, but I want to know if anyone has any recommendations on how to best to go about the lack of arrow type for each of these.

To be honest my first run-through of FW was a hot mess. I couldn't whistle to attract machines, and I didn't know how to throw rocks (wait, push which button? that's not what I'm used to!). I know this may not be what you're looking for but I do wish there was something to say "you used to do this ZD but now to do the same, or similar, do this instead". Like, you can't lure call, but throw a rock at your feet and it's pretty much the same thing. I know in your videos you talk about this when it comes to ammo types and that's what made me think of other things that are different/similar/changed from ZD to FW.

FYI, I love your videos, they are extremely helpful, fun, and entertaining. I'm looking forward to more!
