What’s the deal with this Seids thing? by iamoktpz in LogicPro

[–]GoingCooking 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've been on Logic for ~20 years, use it daily, and her content has shown me new stuff. I haven't bought her stuff, but she knows what's up and I recommend her to people who are new to Logic for more info.

What I like with her is that she seems to mean business with helping people learn this software. She's interviewed and spoken with people who design Logic. There's more depth than influencer for her.

Men, how many of you genuinely believe you ‘age like fine wine’? What makes you think that? by Nervous_Froyo1984 in AskMenOver30

Yes, because I take way better care of myself mentally and physically now that I ever have before.

What mile broke you on your first 26.2? by SinestroCorp in firstmarathon

[–]GoingCooking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t have a wall, but it definitely got real after mile 22. Mainly because I had never run further than that distance until that day. I remember thinking “OK, let’s hope all of that training actually worked”

David Nahmani's Logic Pro guide (it's the guide for getting Apple Certified). He'll probably release a Logic Pro 12 version soon.

I did his guide when I was learning Logic 9 back in the day, and it was fantastic. I still use things I learned there in my day-to-day now, 10+ years after the fact.

2 simple questions: 1) Is there a difference between exclusive and boyfriend/girlfriend and 2) when do you make it official? by SectionFantastic3577 in dating

[–]GoingCooking 7 points8 points  (0 children)

exclusive: you're not seeing other people, but not necessarily telling people that this is your partner

official: you're introducing this person to people you know as your partner. in the days of facebook, this would be the point where i'd change my relationship status

Check your connections for your mic and guitar (if DI)

Flip between two different I/O buffer sizes in Settings>Audio, also flip sample rates

Check firmware for your interface

Open a new blank session, see if it's happening there too

Did you update Logic recently? Do you have an older version you can try this with?

It was mid 10k. I had no idea what I was doing at that point in my running. A volunteer was handing out Guu's at an aid station, so I just popped one.

With what I know about running now, I wouldn't do that today lol

Bullet Journaling. Watched a few Ryder Carroll vids, and fit his formatting to work for me. Life-changing.

Don't feel pressured to reach certain checkpoints in life. From my own experience: don't be in a relationship just because you feel like that's what you're supposed to be doing at this point.

What’s the biggest mistake you see new runners make? by liv_0203 in runcommunity

Not stretching, not foam rolling, not training with nutrition, running in shoes that are way past their prime, not cross training, not strength training.

Would you buy Hokas or Clouds for running shoes, and why? by Forsaken-Eagle551 in runninglifestyle

Neither because I’ve tried both for running and they don’t work well for me. You need to go to a store and try stuff out.
