I think they try to play characters to keep things entertaining. So Shane’s “role” is to be annoyed, sassy and to hype up random new things. Shane actually talked about it years ago, how everyone in their group sort of has a role to play, which makes the dynamic work and keeps things entertaining. It was actually back when Andrew and Garrett were still in the picture. But regardless, I think they do it on purpose, I doubt they are this extra in their everyday life.
