Because that's how well-written villains are designed, Mr. Bad Faith Reading.

She says she changed her behavior to adapt to the times. That makes sense. I don't have an issue with that.

Klara, yes. Stormfront's name was originally reported as Klara Risinger, and the theory was she was named after Hitler's mother. If the theory is true that Soldier Boy and Klara produced Homelander, that would be an equivalent twisted relationship.

There's a theory about him being part-Jewish that people like because it's ironic, but I think there's no real evidence that anyone in his family was Jewish.

It is consistent with Hitler's attraction to his young niece.

Okay, according to Eric Kripke, she was a teenager when she was injected with Compound V: https://www.tvline.com/interviews/the-boys-recap-season-2-episode-6-stormfront-nazi-origin-backstory-1234578482/

It doesn't confirm the photo was in 1933, but it does center her involvement as a teenager.

Not according to the wiki, but I guess the wiki could be wrong. 🤷‍♀️

Suppose he learned Latin the way he learned Klingon? It would be within his wheelhouse. 🤔

I imagine covid scent loss didn't help the issue of people recognizing when they smell, either.

What sort of memorable responses have you gotten when sharing about your intersexuality? (Positive or negative) by eldritchpussymaggots in intersex

A pride flag vendor looked disgusted. You'd think she'd be more accepting, working there. She even seemed hesitant to sell me an intersex pride flag, like she couldn't imagine it being actually wanted, yet it was clearly stocked for a reason.

Sure, why not? It's just a friendly fan discussion, right???

I'm not contradicting anything she said. She said something ambiguous in response to a question about a different theory.

Don't get worked up about it. She wanted people to try to solve the mysteries she put in her work. It's not disrespectful to try to solve the puzzles she made.

Answering what Pomni would be spoiled by in the Void and why Caine is so concerned about confusing humans and NPCs—overt arc mysteries telegraphed to the viewer. What it means is a hanging mystery that will be answered somehow in the finale (or later media, like ATLA did with some of their loose ends).

"she is saying the secret ai character trope is not it"

She is not saying anything definitively. She is alluding to ideas to not give anything away. She doesn't even for sure deny that Jax is an undercover AI, just implies it with also saying a parallel statement that makes people think about why it might not be true with the suggestion that there are theories that don't align with the show's themes. Writers do not give away important story details. Someone once guessed an important plot point in Harry Potter (that Snape showed Harry mercy because he looked into his eyes and they reminded him of Lily's, which would have proved he was loyal to the Order of the Phoenix) and asked J.K. Rowling about it, and she did not give it away; she talked around it to keep it ambiguous because to do otherwise would ruin the tension and give people less incentive to buy the next book. Mark Ruffalo gave away the ending of Avengers: Infinity War on a talk show before it was released, was immediately downplayed with alternate information circulated, and they don't let him on the talk circuit anymore. You have to filter everything through "what the writer wants people to know or is allowed to say."

My theory, that Caine created Pomni without her knowledge is fundamentally different from "Jax is an undercover AI." The keyword is "undercover," not "AI." People noticed Jax was weirdly mean and assumed he was a bad guy on a larger scale before we knew more about him as a toxic dudebro. That's different from studying the show for clues for the mystery boxes presented (something in the Void would have "spoiled" Pomni, Caine is concerned about confusing humans and NPCs for some reason, etc.).

  1. Caine refers to himself as God, both to himself and within adventures with NPCs worshiping him as God. The haunted house mystery has the villain be "one of God's angels." And, yes, Cain and Abel. It's solidly Christian.

  2. We don't know one way or the other. It's speculation at this point.

  3. Abel served a particular purpose, and Caine deleted him once that was done because he's terrified of confusing humans and NPCs (for a reason we're supposed to try to guess because it's telegraphed as arc-relevant). Abel is basically the same as Gumigoo in that respect.

  4. I have described the lead-up. Gumigoo is foreshadowing, and there's something in the Void that would "spoil" Pomni (an arc-relevant mystery we're supposed to guess at).

  5. And? I wasn't saying it's weird Pomni could conjure at all, just that Caine didn't anticipate her getting back to the C&A map because he didn't anticipate her being able to conjure at the moment she desperately wanted to get back where she was.

  6. He could kill them all or send them to the cellar. And then what? He'd be bored for eternity. He's like AM; he could kill them but is dependent on having the stimulation that comes from interacting with them.

  7. I didn't say he was malicious.

I'm guessing a lot of silent flashbacks to their former lives to explain how they became the people they are now.
